Vincent didn't know whether to scream for help or run but even if he screamed for help, he was convinced that every other person here was just like the man before him and if he were to run, there's no way he could get passed without being caught. He just watched with trembling hands and legs as Tyler's bones changed position while thick dark fur covered his body. His clothes had been ripped off and his limbs grew, forming perfectly long animalistic hands and legs. His nose stretched out along with his jaw and his neck expanded before being covered in fur.Vincent couldn't describe what he was seeing. He couldn't make a mental note of anything as he felt it wasn't real. Maybe this was the test and he was not supposed to believe the fake transformation. Maybe the test was to scare him with this circus act and so he made up his mind not to believe it even though his body was still shaking badly. After Tyler's transformation, he howled loudly before returning his killer gaze to Vincent.
Tyler rushed into the house not waiting for Vincent to catch up. He didn't need to go far as he spotted Rebecca, laying lifeless on the floor in the living room. She had a noise bleed and her skin was as white as snow. Tyler's heart stopped beating for a millisecond as he feared the worse had happened. He rushed towards her, falling on his knees as he raised her up slightly. “Rebecca! Rebecca wake up!” He yelled and Rebecca's eyes opened immediately which came as a shock to him. He raised her up further, placing a hand around her shoulder to hold her up while the other held her face. “Rebecca, can you hear me? Are you alright?” Tyler asked with heavy breaths. Rebecca tried to speak but only coughed out blood before loosing consciousness again. Vincent, who finally entered the house froze on the spot. This was someone he had met days ago, how come she's this way now? “We need to take her to a hospital! This looks like the work of a deadly poison.” Vincent said and Tyler carried her up
“I'll do it.” They both chorused and Tyler glared at Vincent.“Are you crazy! You would die even before she fully transfers the poison to you!” He snapped.“Then what about you? You will die as well. At least if she transfers some to me, the umm.. priestess can heal her.” Vincent replied, still not use to their terms. “I don't want anyone dying especially not you. I'll do it.” Tyler insisted.“Young Alpha, are you sure? Your mother would be devastated if she finds out and Rebecca's life would still be in danger with you gone.” Palena said and Tyler ruffled his hair, feeling frustrated. Time was running out and they were yet to figure out the perfect way to save Rebecca. “Isn't there something you can give me to neutralize the poison at least? My wolf side would also speed up my healing process.” Tyler said but Palena shook her head.“Even if I do give you something, the poison won't be completely neutralize. This is one of my deadliest poisons. I don't know how she...” Palena traile
“Rebecca!!!!” Tyler cried out, shaking her violently. “Don't do this to me Rebecca. Don't leave me, don't go, please!” He begged even though he knew she was already gone. There has to be something else he could do to save her. She can't just die, not like this. “Are you sure there's nothing else we can do?” Tyler and Vincent asked at the same time, for the second time.Palena was thoughtful for a while but there was really nothing she could do to bring Rebecca back, only the moon goddess could save her now. “I'm sorry but there's nothing.” Palena replied.“Can't you suck out the poison from her blood or something? Just anything at all to save her ?” Vincent asked, not wanting to believe it was over.“I...wait!” Palena exclaimed. “Tyler, you can still save her!” She added and Tyler's face beamed. “How, tell me how.” He responded immediately.“She just died so that means her soul is yet to leave her body or move on to the afterlife. We can save her using a blood binding spell. We can
As the sunlight hit Rebecca's face, she gently opened her eyes. Her vision was initially blurry, but it gradually improved. The poison had certainly left her system because she felt so invigorated and robust. She carefully raised herself up and discovered she was in a bed, and not just any bed...she was back in Tyler's house. “Wait a minute, what? How did I end up here?" She asked herself before getting off the bed.She saw she was wearing the same clothing and wondered how long she had slept in them. She approached the door, turned the knob, but it was locked. Rebecca wrinkled her brows and twisted it again, this time tugging at it, but it still didn't open. “Hello? Is anyone there?" Rebecca yelled as she knocked on the door. She remembered Tyler locking her up after their first night together following her accident. She was perplexed as to why he would lock her up again. "Rebecca, are you awake?" Rebecca widened her eyes as she heard a familiar voice call out to her from outside, s
"Are you certain about this?" Tyler, you don't appear well at all." Fredrick expressed concern for Tyler's safety."I've previously stated that I'm alright. I can't cancel the duel otherwise Alex will have an advantage." Tyler responded faintly. He tried hard to appear strong, but he wasn't. He assumed that saving Rebecca would have little impact on him. He didn't expect to feel so weak after, and the poison still hurt. Tyler was straining to keep his eyes open because it hadn't been totally removed from his system."You can fool anyone, but you can't fool me, Tyler. You can't fight Alex like this; he'll tear you apart!" Fredrick reprimanded.“I'm not going to let that happen. I may be feeble, but I can still protect myself..."“Can you hear yourself?" Fredrick cut him off. “Tyler, quit being so stubborn! You're in no condition to fight!"“Then what do you want me to do?" Was it all for nothing? I have to do this for Rebecca! It's all for her and no one else!"Tyler snapped“Tyler even
Alex charged at Tyler, bringing out his long and sharp claw to slash at Tyler but Tyler quickly dodged the attack, throwing a punch at Alex's face which sent him to the ground but he quickly got up. Tyler might still be in his human form but he was still strong enough to defend himself for a while even though it only added to the pain he felt from the poison.“This isn't a fair fight! We need to stop this please!” Rebecca turned to the Luna with pleading eyes but she didn't spare Rebecca a glance. Even though she too was afraid for Tyler's safety, she still had faith in her son and the fact that it wasn't a fight to the death also calmed her down.“He is going to be okay Rebecca, I promise.” Fredrick said in an attempt to sooth her but it only made her even more worked up.“How can you say that?! He can't shift! How will he defend himself?!” Rebecca snapped and Fredrick pressed his lips into a thin line as he didn't have an answer for Rebecca.“He is doing pretty well avoiding Alex at
“Let me go!” Rebecca screamed and her eyes glowed which scared the wolves a little, making them release her as they didn't want to end up like the prison guard she had killed. Rebecca ran towards Tyler immediately, crying her eyes out. She crouched down and raised Tyler up, letting his head rest on her laps. “Tyler.. Tyler please wake up.” She cried out as she stared at his wounds. He had deep cuts all over his body, from his hand which was the first cut, to his sides and legs and even his face had few scratches but he was still breathing. Rebecca held his face tightly, shutting her eyes and trying to heal him but she got dragged off suddenly. “What do you think you're doing Rebecca?” Alex asked, glaring at her.“Please let go of me Alex. I need to heal him, he can't die please.” Rebecca pleaded but Alex only laughed at her like she had said something really funny.“Heal him? Why will I let you do that?” He asked with a smile.“He's going to die please!” Rebecca cried out.“And who's
