CAREFUL AND ALERT

Tyler sighed as he watched his father's sleeping face. This was too sudden and he still couldn't believe his father had fallen ill on such short notice. He couldn't recall the last time he heard of his father, the Alpha falling sick and yet here he laid, looking so frail and weak on the bed.

It somehow pained Tyler to see his father this way.

“What happened to him mother?” Tyler asked Lucile who kept sobbing like a baby.

“I don't know son. This has never happened before. He was okay, healthy as always but then he suddenly started complaining of heartache and saying he was tired too often.” Lucille explained.

“And when did the complaint start?” Tyler asked with furrowed brows.

“Three days ago. He told me not to make a big fuss about it and assured me he'll be fine.” Lucille replied. Her eyes were already swollen and her face red from crying for a long time.
