IDENTITY CRISIS

“How are you feeling now?” Tyler asked as he pulled the blanket up to cover Rebecca's neck since she was shivering like someone who got stuck in a cold room.

“Why didn't you tell me that shifting was that painful?” Rebecca muttered her question. She was still in shock from the pain she felt earlier, not that she still felt any pain now that she had shifted back but because it was a lot to take in.

“I didn't know you would shift so suddenly. I thought you might never get to shift because you're a half breed but I always knew you had your wolf side.” Tyler replied.

“That is not enough excuse. I felt like I was dying.” Rebecca said and hugged herself through the blanket.

“I'm sorry. You won't feel that much pain next time, trust me. You'll be use to the transformation now that you've experienced it for the first time.” Tyler said with a smile.

“Why do you seem more happy about me shifting than I am?” Rebecca asked with a frown.
