Niel only let her go again after almost two hours and they stayed at the penthouse until dinner time. After dinner, Niel brought her back to the lakehouse and he spent the night with her again there.
Haylee stared at the ceiling as she lay down on the bed that night. Niel had been in a deep slumber already at that time. She turned her head to the right, staring at his face who looked so calm when he was asleep.
