Another growl left my lips so I turned and walked out, slamming the door behind me. Jax’s very clear act of defiance and disobedience was making my wolf claw at my insides. I felt like I had no control left in my pack or personal life. I was losing everything, when I barely had much to start.

I walked the halls of this building, not speaking a word. Most scurried away from me, but the few brave ones that tried speaking were met with my wolf. A wolf no one wanted to know.

By the time lunch came around I was ready to boil over. This was ending today. I stormed in the conference room, ignoring the light laughter from Jax and his three omega, one human, and one hybrid new hires. I didn't personally mind them intermingling, but the implication could be devastating, especially to my pack.

"I want the female and abomination gone. Brandon, remove them from this building." I was no longer the friend or business partner. I was their Alpha speaking.
