CHAPTER 138.1

A pair of boots trudged to the ends of the sacred halls of the Heavenly World's Divine Pavilion. The echoes of the footsteps were a complete contradiction to the sacred hallway that had witnessed countless realms rise and fall.

Walls and floors made of riches, the nymphs from the land below sang about, gleamed like the sun around the young man striding through the columns of the hallway. But the shadows beneath the swirling swarm of azure specks were not seeing the past of the three worlds making up the whole of the universe – the young man was seeing the present with gritted teeth and a deep knot lodged between his perfectly carved brows.
