DEMON KING LUCIFER THE PRIDEFUL’S POINT OF VIEW
There was once a lone man who was very lonely. He was shunned by the others for all of the living creatures of the world must meet him. And so, they chased him away. He took a sword a split himself into seven so he would always have a companion.
It was quite a lonely story, but it was a story that would build a dynasty that the other worlds would soon fear – the making of the Nether World and the first seven lords of the said realm.
For Lucifer the Prideful, all things were temporary. All things – glory and family – die. There were so many ways to die but the only true death was to never live the life one wanted.
For him, life was his to end. None can hide though many tried and denied his presence.
Those who ran away from him froze in front of the throes of death, foolish thinking that they had outsmarted him. They laughed only to end up screaming. They danced away from him onl
Standing a good distance from the battlefield where blood and magic had been spilled for quite some time now, Apollo Sky the Loyal – whose white-feathered wings were spread out in the darkened skies of the Nether World – cocked his head. His cerulean eyes flashed with relief and wariness for even Maleficent the Glutton was given a chance by the Higher Creator of the realms, the irrefutable fact that an archangel had turned into a fallen one was something that Heavenly World could not let go of – especially his father.“What are you waiting for?” Apollo Sky the Loyal, a guardian angel apprentice, did not beat around the bush. With glancing at the man beside him, he asked his father. Gone was the tremble in his voice. It had long vanished after seeing how Maleficent the Glutton defied the norms. A slap or two were the least of his concern. The well-being of his friends and the Transylvania Academy were Apollo Sky’s priority. After all, this w
Standing above the unconscious and chained leader of the archangel, Apollo Sky the Loyal barely turned his head upon the hissing sound of Levi the Envious’ Basilisk.“Is he dead or unconscious now, Apollo? Because I very much prefer to be sure you know.” What followed was the Halfling’s weary-laden voice in which Apollo Sky could understand very well. After all, it was as if only yesterday where he was ready to die and roll for his father – but not now. Not now when he could finally live up to his title ‘Loyal’. Though he literally betrayed his father, and he got no justification for that, Apollo Sky found the meaning for it.For the apprentice angel, loyalty was a word fitted for the good of the realms – and not directed to a person. What would a mere loyalty to one being or creature do when it would not help the bigger picture?“He’s not dead. I don’t plan on being a fallen angel, thank yo
Imagine a place where it was always night and you were waiting for the dawn that would never come – Damon the Prideful also known as the unbeatable tool of the Demon King Lucifer the Prideful. He was there. He grew up there. He grew up deep inside an ocean of vast emptiness. Damon the Prideful had no one to save him.The Nether World consumed everything, leaving only a sheer emptiness in its wake. Because of this, the halfling prince had become a hollow being as well.Though Damon the Prideful had a mother locked by his father to keep him on leash, Damon the Prideful had no one. He was a doomed outsider. As a child, he was once afraid of the dark – of what were lurking beyond the grimed veil.“Trample those who dare stand your path. Believe it, Damon, and you will have a chance to get your way out of this shithole. Do not let go of your anger, it will serve you will,” said his mother after their first encounter. The young halfling prince
Lightning streaks littered the darkened sky, but for Damon the Prideful – the dawn had finally come back for him. For the first time, the faith he thought that had abandoned him was finally on his side this time and for once ever since he existed, Damon the Prideful was grateful to be born.Every speck of ash that swirled around Damon the Prideful seemed to freeze. The roars of the thunderclaps and lightning bolts seized from his senses. Every pore of his skin emitted warmth that cradled his frozen heart. And his blood pounded through his veins, singing one word ever since he locked gaze with a pair of emerald ones – Maleficent.Time froze for Damon. Gone were his titles.Damon the Prideful? Never. For what he had shown, after the tears he shed, the ‘prideful’ in his name would only be a mockery.Damon the Lost? Was he still lost when his dawn had come back? No.Damon was only Damon. Before he was a spawn or a to
Grand Duke Beelzebub pushed both Maleficent and Selaphiel behind him as if a mere action could protect the two from the conniving eyes of the Demon King Lucifer the Prideful. But Maleficent had enough of the demon king’s crap. And so, she moved past her father and mother. Her wings took her right in front of the smirking demon king. Flying a mere couple of meters from the ruler of the Nether World in a matter of seconds, Maleficent cocked her head as she crossed her arms before her.“Are you sure you want to stay here and burn me and my dear ones for the sake of your petty entertainment, Your Royal Wickedness?” Maleficent the Glutton mirrored her opponent’s smirk.A pair of red and green clashed.“Maleficent!” On cue, the grand duke and the fallen angel appeared right beside the Glutton Heir. The lord of darkness was about to open his lips for a round of profanities for his daughter’s recklessness when Maleficent
“You insolent halfling! I will not spare you nor your treacherous family!” The demon king of the Nether World flicked his arm to Maleficent’s direction. On cue, hellhounds – wolves from the pits of the Nether World – immerged from thin air.The hellhounds got their three eyes transfixed to the family of three. Three hellhounds from the demon king’s crimson flames multiplied to two – two for each Glutton family member.“Maleficent!” Her mother and father cried out when she whistled to draw five hellhounds from its pack before she flew to the Rancid City.Barely looking back at her parents, she yelled amid the rain of lightning bolts. “Don’t worry! I’ll keep them occupied! Take the big guy, dad! M-mom!”As Maleficent’s cheeks reddened, she failed to notice the hellhound going back to her parents. She was flying higher than intended and the hellhounds were losing focus away f
Maleficent the Glutton could not contain the corners of her lips from stretching up after seeing the frowning face of Damon as she flew beside him. “So grumpy,” she mumbled under her breath.A scoff replied from her statement without even looking at her. Gaze fixated to the clash of green and red a couple of hundred meters away from them. Because of this, Maleficent was a hundred percentile sure that the halfling prince – her lover and past rival – was angry from what she did.Maleficent inched herself closer towards him – acting cute as she pouted her lips. She was sure that had she not died then she would never ever think of doing something like this. Before she died, Maleficent would consider pouting as an act of pettiness. But now, Maleficent realized that even for an immortal, life was still short. It was contradictory, yes. But dying from the holy relic of the bastard Gabriel the Faithful made her see things beyond the concept of imm
“This is your grand plan?” Maleficent screamed amid the clashing roars of two infernal flames of red and green. Drenched from the tendrils of her hair to the tips of their limbs, Maleficent opened her arms to emphasize what she was saying. The darkness brought by the veil of mist did not help at all as lightning bolts seized to give illumination for them, a surge of black welcomed them. “How can I know that I am not attacking you instead of our fathers?”Amid the darkness, Grand Duke Beelzebub the Glutton and Demon King Lucifer continued their exchange of powers – not caring a damn thing about their surroundings. They had one thing in common and that was to finally scorn their rivals after years and years of enduring it in.Selaphiel the Fallen on the other hand was flying atop the ongoing clash of demon bosses as she covered her lips with both of her hands. An occasional gasp would escape from her trembling lips whenever her ex-husband wo
