"Turned out Yefet wasn't a traitor." Melech started the meeting with this statement.

He and Azalia, as well as the rest of the people who had accompanied them, had come back to the Adom Kingdom late in the evening yesterday. They only had a few hours of sleep before morning came and, with that, a new meeting with the High Council. It was important. Melech needed to know what had happened during his absence and needed to tell his counsellors about their journey to the Kesef Kingdom.

"Are you sure he wasn't a traitor, my King?" Yael asked him. The Adom woman almost seemed disappointed by the news.

"I can never be sure," Melech admitted. He had no way of knowing if Yefet had told him the truth or not, after all... "But I cannot keep living in the past." His next statement surprised almost everyone in the council room. "My parents' murder was years ago. I need to focus on other things."

He had decided to truly move on and Azalia was so proud of him. She reached for Melech's hand on top
