Chapter 57: Taunts and Truths

"What do you want?" I asked him impatiently.

The werewolf stepped out of the darkness and continued staring at me. He never averted his gaze, not once. "You don't feel it?"

"Feel what?"

He didn't answer me. I had got through enough but this behavior of his was really starting to mess with me. He always found a wya to come down here to talk to me and the problem was that whenever he was around me, his expression and demeanor was always indecipherable, so I didn't have a clue what he wanted from me.

Even now, he wasn't making sense.

He continued looking at me and at some point, I decided that I would just stop paying attention to him altogether. Maybe if I ignored him, he would leave me the hell alone and go about his wolfish business. God, what did werewolves even do all day? How are they rich?
