Ella's POV

I sat alone in my room, the weight of what Aiden's said still heavy in my heart. How could he react with such anger and disappointment when he learned that Jayden, his own twin brother, was also my mate? It pained me to see the bond between them fractured, their once unbreakable connection now strained.

Leaning against the window sill, and gazing out into the beautiful night sky, I seek solace in the twinkling stars. I need to understand what is going on between them, why their relationship changed so drastically over the years.

"Lea," I whispered, my voice filled with sadness and confusion. "How did this happen? How did their bond shatter like this?" I heaved, staring blankly at the sky. "They were so close when they were little." I wondered.

Lea stirred within me. Her presence was comforting, a soothing presence amidst the chaos of my thoughts.
