Chapter 14 Xander's Anget

Selena's POV

I spent the next few days peacefully and quietly in the hospital undergoing Liam's treatment. The healing process was as difficult as Liam had warned me it would be. The Mate Bond between Xander and me was becoming extremely weak, and the excessive amount of blood consumption was completely depleting my strength.

"So what should I do?" I asked.

I sat in the treatment room and watched as Liam rattled off a half-dozen analyses about my condition. The seriousness on his face was really testing my patience.

"I'll start by replenishing the losses in your bloodline, but I'm afraid I won't be using anesthesia-type drugs during the process to keep it pure and free of any impurities," he said.
