Kaya saw her aunty Zia's eyes gleaming up with happiness after whatever he said to her on call."Okay, I will inform your dad about this. Take care," Zia hung up the call and looked at Kaya. She passed her a huge happy grin which turned Kaya a bit confused, until…."Zian is coming back tomorrow, Kaya. His flight is going to land tomorrow before the sunset," Zia uttered. For a brief moment, Kaya went completely still. She needed time to comprehend that news and when finally she understood it, her lips stretched into a big and joyful smile. He is finally coming back. Her wish finally got fulfilled. Now her aunty Zia and uncle Damien are going to be the happiest and he will also get the love of his parents he had always deserved and might have craved too."I am so happy. He is finally coming back," Kaya's heart felt more content, witnessing her aunty so happy. That was the kind of happiness she had always wished to see on her uncle and aunty's faces. That happiness which they had lost t
For a brief moment, Kaya felt like every single thing around her had frozen, as soon as those extremely pale blue eyes came in contact with her golden ones. Her heart dropped to its lowest beating. She wanted to tear her eyes away from his, but didn't know why she was still looking into those piercing azure eyes. But Kaya immediately snapped back into reality and darted her eyes away from his. She looked at her uncle Damien and passed him a smile. She walked towards them, making sure to not look at him. She herself didn't know why she was trying to ignore him when now it was quite impossible to do when they were going to live under the same roof. Kaya extended the tray of soft drinks to her uncle. Damien grabbed one glass and patted her head."Thank you," he said, smiling. She returned the smile and then turned to face Leo. Her smile widened more by watching him. Leo was also beaming at her. She herself grabbed a glass of his favourite soft drink and extended it towards him.Leo chuc
Kaya was totally frozen. She didn't know what to do anymore. How badly she was regretting getting out of her room, only she knew about it. And why did he have to come here in the kitchen at this time? On the top of it, shirtless. And why was he staring at her like that again? It immediately made her recall that time when he had called her ugly. She was so busy staring at him that she didn't even notice that her glass got overflowed with water. She snapped her head towards her hand finally and found the water was overflowing. She immediately placed the jug and glass back on the cabinet and looked for the mop. Kaya did her best to not to pass him a single glance, like he was invisible to her eyes but what about his eyes which were already on her and she could clearly feel it. She could feel it that he didn't move from his place, for which she was grateful. Kaya found the mop beside the refrigerator. Grabbing it, she cleaned the water on the floor and placed the mop back on its place
Next morning, Damien was leaving home early because he had very important work to take care of. "Thank you so much, mi vida," Damien placed the glass of juice back on the tray after finishing it. Zia smiled before grabbing that tray of glasses.Damien got up from the sofa and placed a warm peck on his wife's cheek."I will be back before the evening," he told her. She nodded, smiling."Take care," she said to him. Damien was wagging his head when he saw Zian entering the hall. His son had really changed now because Zian was never a morning person in his childhood or teenage years but now things really seemed different."Good morning, Zian," Zia greeted his child, smiling. Zian politely nodded his head at his mother. Their son had turned a bit quiet too. He barely used his words to respond to anyone."Sit, I will your breakfast," Zian again just dipped his head in reply. Damien silently noticed his son's behaviour and then looked at his wife."Bye," he flashed her a smile. She beamed
Her heart was still pounding inside her chest. She couldn't just understand why he was helping her? Did her pain really matter to him now? Slowly tilting her head, she took a secret glance at him and found him driving. His eyes were focused on the road. His facial features relaxed. He was not looking angry or scary at this moment but she still couldn't afford to lower her guards in front of him. She needed to stay alert. Within 10 minutes, they reached the doctor's clinic. Kaya wondered that he didn't even ask her about the direction or address of the doctor's clinic during their entire ride here, how did he manage to bring her here? As he halted his car in front of the clinic, Kaya started removing her seatbelt. Meanwhile, he already got out of the car and went to open her side's car's door. Kaya removed the seatbelt and before she could touch the door to open it, she found him opening it for her. Zian extended his palm to her in order to help her in getting out of the car but thi
Zian was taking her out of the clinic. Kaya didn't want to hold him but for her safety measures, she had to lightly clutch on his shirt's collar. She did her best to not make eye contact with him but couldn't help herself from taking secret glances of his face. First her eyes fell on his sharp and chiselled jawline. It was looking so edgy that she was sure she could cut vegetables with it. Then her eyes trailed towards his well defined straight nose and then towards his lips. Kaya finally snapped back into reality when she noticed what exactly she was doing. She was checking him out. A kind of thing which she barely used to do because she didn't believe in checking out anyone, especially their physical appearance. She lowered her eyes, making sure not to look at him again, but what about his hardened muscles which were pressed against her body? It was enough to make her head get filled with her bubbles of strange thoughts again. She was grateful when they finally reached his car. He b
"Kaya….." Leo uttered, standing at her door. He was looking really very worried. Kaya looked at him and by witnessing that concern on his face, she understood her uncle Damien might have told him about her foot injury. Leo entered her room and straight went towards her, without sparing a single glance to that other figure present inside that room, who was silently witnessing everything. Leo sat beside Kaya and looked at her foot which was wrapped in a bandage."Kaya, are you alright? Does this hurt too much?" He asked, concerned. Kaya smiled, watching his tensed face. She shook her head and placed her palm over Leo, assuring him that she was completely fine and now it was not even hurting her anymore.Realising she was fine, Leo sighed and placed his palm over her cheek."I got so worried about you when Mr Karlson told me about all of this, this morning," he gave her the half information because Damien had told him to follow Zian's car, after Zian took Kaya to the doctor, for her sa
Gazing upward at the dark sky, Damien was admiring the beauty of shining and twinkling stars which made him recall those moments of his life where his life used to be like this darkness of the night and the only source of his light was his wife….the only girl he had loved and was still loving and was going to love more than his own self, till the last breath of his life. He was standing in the garden of his house and was looking at the night view when he heard that voice. "You called me," Zian's voice took Damien out of his thoughts. Tilting his head, he saw his son standing beside him. Damien nodded his head at him because he had called Zian here in the garden to have some relevant conversation. Zian stood beside his father and waited for him to start the conversation. Damien sighed slowly, looking at the sky and finally opened his mouth. "You know that I don't have the habit of beating around the bush, Zian," Damien uttered and turned his head to face his son. "And you're not a k
"Kiana, baby where are you?" Kaya's voice started shuddering as her tears started gathering in her eyes. She couldn't find her 3-year- old daughter. "She was playing in the garden when I came inside to pick up my call, mum," Kaya told her mother-in-law, Zia. They both turned extremely terrified. Their 3 year old toddler went missing inside their home but how was that possible? They both searched for her in the entire house when they heard the sound of the doorbell ringing. Zia's teary eyes widened. "Damien is here," both the women exchanged an extremely worried glance because they knew how Damien was going to react if he could find his granddaughter in front of his eyes. Zia opened the door and Damien's smile faded when he witnessed those tears glistening in his wife's eyes. He stepped inside hurriedly. "What happened, Zia?" He asked her which brought more tears to both the women's eyes. It turned Damien more concerned. "What happened? Why you ….." he stopped when he noticed som
"Zia, ,you don't have to do it all alone, mi vida," Damien uttered, watching his wife pacing around the entire hall as she was decorating it with her own hands. Damien tried to help her but she refused to let anyone else do that work because she wanted to do it all by herself because today her children were coming back home. Zian and Kaya are coming back home after more than a month. Damien sighed, watching his wife's excitement and enthusiasm. He was also very happy, knowing they were finally coming back. His family was finally going to get completed. He was just hoping for his son's acceptance because Damien knew, somehow he was the reason behind his son having to suffer so much. He knew he couldn't become a good father because throughout his life, he focused on making his son a good person but he forgot that he needed to embrace his child's bad too. The sound of the door bell ringing gained the couple's attention. Damien saw his wife's eyes tinkling with happiness. He chuckled.
"Wow, the food tastes delicious. You are an amazing cook, Kaya," Kaya giggled, hearing her grandpa Zale. They were having their dinner."I have also helped her. You can pass some praises to mee too, Mr Alcazar," Zian uttered, showing his fake offence because he and Kaya, they both had cooked that dinner together for Zale. Zale laughed whereas Kaya chuckled."Wait, I forgot the dessert. I will get it from the kitchen," Kaya said and tried to get up from the chair but Zian stopped her."You finish your dinner. I am done with mine, so I will get it," he stated, making her smile. She wagged her head which he returned with a soft beam and then he left from that hall and went to the kitchen. Zale noticed that beautiful love blooming between the couple which made him content too. After all, what else would he want more than watching his family so happy but he was aware that a part of his family might be completely restless now. His daughter and son-in-law. Zale sighed, which gained Kaya's a
Zian continued to gape at her like a statue whereas her tears refused to stop. She also gazed at him, like she was staring at her life's most valuable and precious belonging. She couldn't just believe she was about to lose him, just because of her ignorance and lack of awareness. He was suffering so much from the very beginning but here she was considering herself a victim. But her pain was nothing as compared to his because she was able to share it with the people around her but he was not even capable of telling about his pain to his own self, let alone sharing it with someone else."Zian, why did you leave home? You didn't get hurt somewhere, right? Please tell me," she cupped his face and asked him. Kaya still didn't pay attention to the fact that now her words had gotten its voice because she was too indulged in his pain to care about her own. Tears aggressively fell from her eyes until she saw a stupid kind of smile forming on his face. She thought he was intoxicated, that was
"Because Zian knew that Damien would never let you be with him, no matter what and besides, he was aware of his mental health too that he would end up hurting you….." Zale stated to her."That he is at that stage of his condition where he could hurt and harm anyone physically, even you. Zian knew you didn't deserve to be with someone like him who didn't even have control over his own emotions. He had told me that he has even tried to hurt you physically in his anger," her dried up eyes again glossed. She remembered that he had hurted her physically a lot of times, like grabbing her neck and wrist painfully. He had even hurted her badly that night when they both got intimate for the second time in his friend's resort. She had even seen his deadly possession everytime he had caught her with Leo. All those were the clear signals which she never tried to understand."After realising his feelings for you, he decided to let you go because he knew he would end up tainting you both mentally a
"Zian told me to come here so that I could take you back home," Her body stiffened, along with her heart, hearing her grandpa Zale. So that's why he has told him to come here? So that he could send her away. But isn't this what she was wanting? She had asked him this morning to take her back home then why was it not making her happy anymore? He was finally doing something right. He was rectifying his mistake then why was it bringing so much restlessness and pain to her? Was he right? Is her love so selfish? Zale silently watched that enormous amount of pain flashing in her eyes after he revealed that thing to her. Zian had called him today and told him to come here as soon as possible and took Kaya away from here. He asked him why suddenly and the answer he gave him was … "He told me you have asked him for something for the first time in his life, so he could never dare decline it," Zale uttered. Her eyes immediately moistened, at his words. Zale found her tearing her eyes away fr
"Then set me free and take me back home for our love's sake,"Zian felt like every part of his body got deprived of all kinds of sensations, hearing those words of hers. His smiling face turned completely gloomy. His emotions numbed, except for that seething pain which her statement had brought to him. Her eyes filled with tears when she noticed his entire presence turning emotionless. His grip automatically started loosening around her hands but she held them firmly."You know this is wrong. What you have done is wrong. We can't live our life like this," she tried to make him understand because after last night, Kaya understood the more she would fight with him the more insane his madness was going to be, so she decided to deal with him calmly and with no facade of anger."We would never be able to live our life happily by running away from our past. We have to face it, so please take me back home, please…" a tear slipped down from her eyes as she begged him. He didn't answer but co
Each and every single thing froze around them as soon as they both felt the warmth of their mouths colliding with each other. It felt like their souls had started connecting. Their hearts were getting intertwined. The pain of getting apart from each other had now finally started satiating and numbing. Their hearts screamed at them how cruel they both were to even think about getting away from each other when they both wanted and needed to live their lives with each other and for each other.Tiny droplets of water trickled down from both of their bodies as they both held each other firmly, like if they would even loosened a bit, then someone might slip away which they couldn't afford at all. Gripping his muscular and huge back, Kaya let her tears get mixed with the sweetness of her mouth. Her tears stained both of their cheeks but did he complain? Not at all. He had accepted every inch of hers as his and was now begging for her to accept every good and worst of his.Slowly feeding on
"Took you long enough to understand that…. something is wrong with me, mi nena," his voice turned dangerously low. Her heartbeat dropped in fear. "Because a normal person never behaves and thinks the way I do…,," he leaned his face closer to her, almost brushing their lips. "A normal person never loves the way I love you, Kaya," he breathed out hotly against her mouth. Her existence trembled. Now she was understanding something that it was really not normal. His behaviour, his actions, something was wrong with him but what? They both peered into each other's eyes. Zian saw those questions emerging in her eyes which made him leave her arm. "Let's get inside. You will get ill under this weather," he told her. She finally realised that the weather here was really very chilly as compared to her hometown. It was freezing cold and she was wearing nothing but his shirt and he was out of imagination. Half naked. Zian tried to hold her hand while saying "Come on. Let's get…." His words re
