Darcel had been silent ever since, he had the showdown with his grandfather during the dinner, he was glued on his phone the moment he dropped on the sofa and suggested that I can use the bathroom first.

I came out immediately the very next moment, earning a surprised look from him,"I suddenly remembered that I have to prepare for tomorrow's meeting with the supplier, you should wash up and sleep first. It's going to take me some time."

That definitely was the best excuse I could come up with, because there's no other way I could get over with this night without getting embarrassed.
