Chapter Eleven

The man looked over helplessly at his pretty young daughters who met his eyes pleading with theirs that they not be left alone with this monster but there was nothing more he could do to protect them. So he bowed his head to Paolo who smirked at his submittance, and then he turned away and left them with the monster. He reasoned that as he still had two younger sons another small daughter and his wife at home to protect there was nothing else he could do for them. Even if he had tried to intervene he reasoned that he would still have been brutally murdered, the rest of his family taken and his daughters would still have to face the same fate. Returning to his home he made sure the hospital was on standby to receive the two girls should they survive their dreadful fate and he had good reason to do so.
