Chapter Seven: George Benitez

Third Person's POV

Marissa gave the hot cup to her boss and catched him sip it. After savoring the sip, Diego took a deep breath and looked at her.

“I want you to set me up with dates,” he said. “I want to find a wife who deserves me.”

Marissa would want to lift her eyebrow because of what he said. This could be one of the times that she would want to contradict him. In this current generation, setting up dates and using online apps to find a match in a relationship is very common nowadays, but she would never imagine that her boss would also consider it.

“Of course, sir,” she said and nodded. “I will research tonight and reserve dates for you."

Diego smirked and looked at the air as if imagining things. “I wonder how the woman I will marry would feel grateful and lucky once she marries me,” he said and gazed at his secretary. “Don’t you think, Ms. Dela Cruz?”

“W-Well, yes, of course, sir. She would be really… lucky,” she said with a papery smile even though she wanted to throw up.
