Victoria got up from her chair, ready to go meet Mr Smith after being told by Robin he asked for her presence. She wondered what he needed her for and worse, did he notice she came late? She thought to herself.

"Of course!" She muttered to herself. "He must have noticed you weren't there when he came in as he is still keeping close eyes on you."

"Oh Lord help me." She prayed within her.

As Victoria approached Mr Smith's office, her palm became sweaty. She wiped her sweaty hands on her skirt as she made advances towards his office. As she stood in front of his office, she took in deep breaths and exhaled before knocking on the door.

She mentally prepares herself for the words he'd say to her. She expected to get some scolding from him about her attitude on her first day at work.
