Red glowing eyes and pointy teeth. Screams echoing through the dense forest and evil vampires cackling into the night.
I woke up with a racing heart and in a cold sweat remembering everything. My hand went to the side of my neck and I felt a plaster over it. The sound of those fangs ripping through my flesh would forever be embedded in my memories.
My eyes slowly adjusted to the light and I squinted as I looked around the room. I was in a bedroom. The walls were black and the interior of the room was grey and white.
I sat up in the bed clutching my head. At least I wasn't locked in a cell in the dungeon again. A door from the side opened and Creed walked in with a towel wrapped around his waist and his hair wet. "Oh," I exclaimed and looked away. My voice sounded thick and terrible as if I'd been drinking the previous night.
"You're awake," Creed said and I heard his feet slap the floor as he walked over to me. He sat down on the bed in front of me. "How do you feel Elea?" He asked and I looked down at my hands.
Did he not realize he wasn't wearing any clothes.
Warmth radiated off him and he smelled fresh like soap and lemon, it was an intoxicating smell. He reached out to touch my head with the back of his hand and I stopped him. "I'm fine." I lied. I felt like hell. "I should probably go home." I moved to stand but my neck stung and my head spun causing the room to look like it was tilting. I stumbled back and I felt two arms wrap around my shoulders.
Creed moved me to sit back on the bed and I didn't bother to fight him. I had no energy for it. "Why don't you stay awhile," he suggested and this time when I looked at him, he looked anxious. "Drink this," he offered me a glass of orange juice that was on the nightstand and two white pills.
I eyed the juice. "It's just juice and pain killers," he said. I took them from him and popped the pills in my mouth before draining the entire glass of juice. He took the glass from me and left it back on the nightstand before standing up and walking to one of his drawers. I looked away immediately afraid he was going to drop his towel.
"What was that thing that attacked me? Was it a vampire?" I asked trying to distract myself.
"Yes," he answered firmly and I heard some shuffling coming from him.
"Does that mean I'm going to become one now?" I was unnerved by the idea. Sure it seemed cool when it was just a fantasy but I didn't know if I would have the restraint to resist human blood and the thought of drinking blood made my stomach flip into my back. He walked into my line of vision and he was fully dressed in black track pants and a black shirt.
"No you fine just try not to die in the next twenty-four hours to avoid that or else I would have to kill you," he smiled darkly and a shiver stung my spine. "It's going to be okay."
"None of this is okay," I said looking at my hands and then I realized I was dressed differently. "You took off my clothes!" I shrieked gripping the material of the grey sweatshirt that didn't belong to me.
He cleared his throat. "Your clothes were messed with blood and dirt. I couldn't let you sleep in my bed like that." My mouth fell open as I gaped at him. "That is inappropriate."
"Come on I didn't look or touch anything," he cleared his throat awkwardly. "What do you think I am?"
"You are unbelievable. What is wrong with you and if this is your bed where did you sleep?" I asked.
"In my bed."
"You what!" I shrieked.
"You seem upset," he deduced, "and hungry as well," he stood. "You should probably eat something. I'll go see what I can find in the kitchen." I felt so violated and before I could go full-on beast mode on him I heard a knock on the door.
"Hey, you up?" Liam called.
Creed wasted no time in using this as his escape route. He walked over to the door and pulled it open. He pulled Liam into the room. "Woah good morning to you too."
"Liam is here," Creed said looking at me, "to keep you company for a few minutes while I go see about that breakfast." He left the room and Liam looked between me and the door. He seemed confused.
"How are you feeling Elea?" He inquired taking a few steps towards me.
"Physically drained and mentally ill," I summed it up for him.
"That's always the case after a vampire sucks your blood," he chuckled and I couldn't believe this was an actual conversation I was having. What had my life become?
"This is all just so..." I trailed unable to find the right words.
"Overwhelming," he completed the sentence for me and I nodded. "I was six years old when Dallas adopted me and introduced me to this world of demons and I'm still not used to how messed up this all is."
"Why am I here. What do I have to do with the world of myth and legend?" I asked.
Liam looked conflicted. "Nothing at all," he said softly and looked away from me.
"Then why did Creed bring me here. Why is he telling me all of this and keeping me here?"
"He still hasn't told you," Liam shook his head in disbelief and took a seat next to me. "He can be so thick-headed sometimes he knows he's running out of time." Liam rambled and I just wished he would tell me what he was talking about.
"Please Liam," I said placing my hand over his and he looked at me. "I'm scared. Please tell me why I'm here." For the first time since I was brought here, I admitted the truth that I was scared.
Liam sighed he looked at the door and then he looked at me running a hand through his hair. "He needs to fall in love with you so that the curse will be broken," he blurted the words out and my jaw fell open.
"He what?" I questioned in disbelief.
I heard a growl coming from the doorway and when I looked I saw Creed holding a plate. His eyes flashed from green to black and he broke the plate in half. "What the fuck Liam!" He barked. "You couldn't have waited for me to tell her!" He yelled.
"You were taking forever. The next full moon is in fifteen days brother." Liam stood.
Creed dropped the broken pieces to the floor and took a deadly step forward. "Just put a bullet in my skull and we can be done with this."
"No," Liam refused, "I will not kill you. There is still hope."
"There is no hope Liam. She doesn't trust me. How can I love her when she won't let me? I'm out of time brother. Rather kill me now than let me shift." Creed said and turned on his heel to leave the room.
"Creed," Liam called and then ran a hand through his hair. He turned to look at me and I had no words for what I just witnessed. "Look I know you think our methods of doing things are wrong. Dallas told me what you said to Creed before you left but please Elea he's the only one that feels like family to me." Liam got down on his knees in front of me. He took both my hands in his. "Please help my brother and I promise to be in your debt for as long as I live."
"Liam-" the words got stuck in my throat.
"Please," he begged. "If you don't help him and he shifts. Dallas is going to make us kill him." My blood ran cold and my body stilled.
The sadness pain and desperation in Liam's eyes were evident. He loved Creed and I knew what losing someone you loved did all too well. I lost my mother four years ago to cancer. Four years is not enough time to heal a wound like that. No amount of time will be enough to heal a wound like that.
So I couldn't even begin to imagine the kind of wound that would form from watching your brother get murdered by your family. That would be a wound to haunt you for the rest of your life. "I'll help you," the words came out as a whisper.
Liam stood. "Thank you," he said and his eyes looked glassy. He left the room quickly and I fell back against the headboard.
How was I even going to begin to make Creed fall in love with me?
I've only ever been in two relationships and none lasted over a year. I wouldn't know where to begin but I couldn't force him to love me that didn't make sense. He had to do it on his own.
But could someone that killed innocent creatures ever love anything and was becoming a monster his karma and if I left and his family killed him would I be a monster for not at least trying to help him.
What I had to ask myself was that could I leave and go on with my life knowing that I could have done something to save Creed and the answer was simple. I couldn't. I didn't know why but I couldn't live my life and forget this world with Creed existed. I would feel guilty if I left and didn't know what happened to Creed and I wasn't going to live with that guilt.
I got out of bed. I needed to find Creed and talk to him. As I stood I noticed a little girl was standing by the doorway watching me. Her hair was in two pigtails and she was dressed in full black just like how Liam and Creed were. "Hello," I said in surprise.
"I'm sorry I just wanted to see if you were okay. Dallas said you were attacked by a vampire." The little girl shuddered and hugged her arms around her body.
"That's so thoughtful of you." I smiled and walked over to her. She was adorable. "What's your name Sweetheart?"
"May," she said. "My brothers said I could meet you once you woke up."
I didn't know Dallas had any children in the house. This house had a dungeon with creatures in it. It surely wasn't a home for a child."How many siblings do you have?" I voiced my curiosity and she held up six fingers.
"The others left on missions yesterday. They should be back soon," she explained.
"Are your siblings around your age?"
She shook her head and I let out a breath of relief. "They big like Creed and Liam. I'm the newest. Dallas adopted me at the beginning of the year. My family was killed by vampires." The little girl craned her neck to show me a silver scar on her pale skin. "Creed, Liam, and Jordan came and killed them before they could finish killing me." Tears welled up in her eyes and I couldn't help it anymore I pulled the little girl into a hug.
"That's awful," I said and she wrapped her little arms around my torso. She sniffled and I pulled back. "Do you like living here?" I asked.
"Yes." She smiled and I wiped away her fallen tears.
"You a brave little girl May."
"You not leaving, are you? You going to stay and help my big brother?" She asked and my heart quivered at the love May and Liam had for Creed. "He reminds me of my other big brother that was killed by the vampires. Whenever I have nightmares I always come to Creed and he lets me sleep next to him and tells me stories. None of my other brothers and sister here do that for me."
"I promise I'll try," I said and her eyes lit up with hope and she smiled from ear to ear deep dimples forming on her cheeks. "But I'd like to take a shower first if that's possible. Do you think your brother would mind if I stole some of his clothes?" I asked and she giggled.
"Nope," she said. I ruffled her hair and went over to Creed's drawers. I pulled open one drawer that had piles of black and grey pants and shirts only. I helped myself to his black shirt and pants.
"Be back in a jiffy," I told her and she sat on the bed, making herself comfortable.
I walked into the bathroom and it was fairly clean. Creed's room was cleaner than my dorm room. I looked at my hellish state in the mirror and removed the plaster from my neck. The bleeding had stopped and the blood was dried.
I looked and felt disgusting so I wasted no time stripping and getting into the shower. I stole Creeds body wash and washed my hair. Once I was clean and ensured I no longer smelled like blood I stopped the water and dried myself off.
I changed into the clothes. I had no underwear so the only thing I could do was go commando because I was not using Creeds. I walked out of the bathroom and May was waiting for me.
"Sweetheart do you know where Creed might be?" I asked and tossed the towel into the hamper.
"If Creeds not here he will be in the training room. Come on I'll show you," she said hopping off the bed and I followed her out of the room.
She ran down the hallways and I struggled to keep up with her pace. "May wait up," I called and she stopped at a door. She opened it and peeped her head inside and then gestured with her hand for me to hurry up.
I walked up to the door and peeked my head into the room. Creed was in the training room but he wasn't alone. He was twirling a silver sword and standing face to face with another man who was about his height.
The man had dirty blonde hair and he was broader than Ceed. The two got in a sword fight and then Creed kneed the man in the gut earning a winded grunt from him.
Creed knocked the sword out of the man's hand and the man held up his hands in surrender. Creed dropped his sword and the man swung at him. Creed dodged and the man tackled him to the ground. "Dallas's mother can hit harder than you," Creed laughed. "And she's seventy-six."
"Shut up," the man laughed as they took turns dropping each other to the mat. "That's Jared, my other brother," May said.
The two men looked up at us and let go of each other. They stood and Jared shoved Creed and grinned. "This must be Elea." Jared smiled and walked up to me. "Jared," he said sticking his hand out to shake mine.
"Elea," I returned his smile and shook his hand.
"I must say you are beautiful. My brother will be putty in your hands sooner enough," he winked.
"Go fuck yourself, Jared," Creed growled and Jared laughed.
"Hey language," May said and Creed's eyes widened.
"Sorry May," he said.
"Little nut what are you doing?" Jared asked looking at May. "Getting in trouble so early in the morning. Come on it's time for your lessons." He said and began walking out of the room with May. "Oh, and it was a pleasure meeting you Elea." He called as he walked off.
"You need to eat," Creed told me. "You haven't eaten anything since you got here yesterday. After you eat I'll take you back."
"I wanted to talk to you about that," I told him and began to play with my fingers nervously.
"What is it?" He asked.
"Now that I know about this world I just can't unknow it you know," I cleared my throat. I tended to ramble when I felt nervous. "I can't go back to going to college and working in a diner getting less than minimum wage... so I want to help you but I have a condition," I said.
"What is it?" He asked.
It was the only way I would have had peace of mind and wouldn't feel like I cohorting with a family of heartless killers. "You and your family must stop killing innocent creatures."
"You serious?" He laughed and I nodded. "Even if I did agree to stop killing monsters what makes you think the others would?"
"Because it will be the only way to save you."
He smiled. "That's cute princess. I'm an asset to Dallas and the rest of them and when I become a monster they won't hesitate to put a silver bullet in my head."
"You not an asset. You're a person and believe it or not Liam and May care about you. Your death would destroy them."
He paused considering my words. "You can tell my family your condition after you eat," he said and gestured for me to walk out of the room. "Wait are you wearing my clothes?" He asked with a quirked eyebrow and my cheeks turned red.
"You shot me and kidnapped me," I reminded him.
"How long are you going to hold that over my head?"
"You still haven't apologized for that you know."
"Apologize," he repeated the word like he had never heard it before.
"Yes apologize." He stopped walking and caught me by my elbow. He turned me to face him and he looked deep into my eyes.
"I am truly sorry for pulling you into my mess and I am also sorry you almost died." His lips quirked up in a small smile and I couldn't believe he apologized.
I smiled back at him. "You are forgiven."
In the kitchen I watched Creed sprinkle some cheese over a slice of bread. He was making grilled cheese sandwiches and something was fascinating about watching him go about the innocent task normally as if he didn't hunt supernatural creatures for a living."You staring," he said flipping a sandwich so that it could toast on the other side."I don't know it's hard to imagine a monster hunter making a grilled cheese for me."The corner of his mouth quirked in a subtle smile. "Don't get used to it princess. I'm only doing it because you were almost killed because of me." He plopped a plate with two sandwiches on it in front of me. "Bon appetite.""Thanks." I rolled my eyes. "Is it easy for you to walk around and act like you don't care about anything or anyone?" I asked and took a bite out of the sandwich.A hint of a dark smile played on his lips while amusement shone in his eyes. He folded his arms and leaned back on the counter behind him. "Who said it
"I can't believe you talked me into this," Creed groveled as I stumbled behind him, trying not to break my ankle in creative ways. The ground was covered in fallen leaves making it hard to see if any rocks were sticking out.The forest was beautiful during the day and it was almost hard to believe how scary it looked at night. The sun peeked through the gaps of the yellow and green tree branches, creating a beautiful cascade of yellow rays on the ground with the already fallen browning leaves and red berries. The forest was alive with color, flowers I've never seen before that looked like they were from another planet with their funky colors and patterns. Of course, Creed had to ruin it for me 'don't touch anything it will kill you,' I heard the line three times in less than ten minutes."So why did you decide to come out on the case with me?" He asked turning over his shoulder to glance at me.I shrugged. "I'm curious about your day job. What it's like l
Creed parked the Jeep back in the disclosed garage before covering it up with broken branches. We hiked back to the house just before the sun could set. "I'm going to talk to Dallas," he said once we entered the house. He stormed off in the direction of the boardroom. He looked severely disturbed, and I knew he was. Whatever happened between him and that wolf in the parking lot stumped him more than he lead me to believe. As I watched him disappear into the room I sighed not knowing what to do with myself. Where did someone like me fit in a house like this? A house filled with strange artifacts and a dungeon of creatures. I walked down the hallways slowly as I looked around at the portraits of men and women with silver hair much like Dallas's.One man, in particular, caught my eye. His hair was silver and his eyes were hard and a pale blue like Dallas's. His lips were in a nasty scowl as if he never smiled a day in his life. The name on the plac on t
After dinner, everyone retired to their rooms and I went to Creed's. He went over to his drawers and pulled open the bottom one. "Here." He tossed me a candy bar and I stumbled to catch it."You hide snacks in your room," I thought out loud as I examined the wrapper of the granola bar."With Dallas's cooking, I have to otherwise I'd starve. There are pretzels in here too and bottled water. Help yourself."He then opened another drawer and took out a pair of grey sweatpants and a hoodie. "Here you can use these," he handed me the clothes. When pandora goes shopping tomorrow we can ask her to get you some stuff."I left the granola bar on the bedside table and took the clothes from him. I squealed when his underwear fell out and onto my foot. "Eew eww Ewww!" I shrieked and hopped on the spot."What's the matter?" He asked unfazed by my reaction."Why are you giving me your underwear!" I kicked it off my foot."If you not usi
Creed ran a hand through his hair as his eyes remained fixed on me. "Does my life mean nothing?" I asked and his brows furrowed."Of course your life means something, Eleanora. I tried to tell you that night and then you ran off. It must have slipped my mind," he said taking a step towards me."How could something like this slip your mind Creed and knowing I was going to die for you. You still pulled me into this mess.""I will never let anything harm you El. I promise I will protect you.""How can I trust you?" My voice strained. The dream from earlier this morning played over in my head again. He left me in the fire to burn maybe it was my subconscious warning me."Because you know you can." He gritted his teeth."Why did you even take me. Tell me why me!""Because something in me wanted you El," he yelled back. His eyes flashing from green to black as he clenched his fists. "It wanted you."I swallowed the lump forming in my
If the flap of a butterfly's wings in Tokyo could cause a tornado in Tennessee then it wouldn't be too far-fetched to say that a small kiss on the neck was an internal natural disaster causing my organs to liquefy and my overthinking to seize.I've never felt something quite like it before. There was something about Creed and I could feel it in my veins from the first moment we made eye contact. It was more than just attraction, there was something else keeping me here despite my heads natural reaction to run and never look back.I touched the back of my neck still staggered and swallowing hard. I tried to get my body's functions up and running again from its recent stupefying.I ran my fingers through my hair and rubbed my sweaty palms down the length of my dress as I moved toexit the room.It was just one kiss Eleanora it meant nothing, my brain told my spontaneous heart.
"He cannot go it's too dangerous for him. The full moon is in two weeks." Pandora slammed her fist down hard on the table in the family's meeting room.I stood at the entrance of the doorway as I listened. The room was filled with different opinions that made the oxygen and atmosphere thick with tension. I decided to keep my opinions to myself not wanting to get into a fight with anyone else in Creed's family."But if he doesn't go the others are going to ask questions, Dora. Being chosen to defend and protect especially during one of the most dangerous times of the year is an honor," Jared spoke up.Pandora narrowed her eyes."Do not give me a speech on honor. This is your brother's life we talking about. If someone notices the slightest supernatural tendency in him they will kill him on the spot and we will all be deemed untrustworthy and killed." I looked over at Creed and he sat at the table uninterestedly as his family
The blood drained from Elias's face and he pulled me to the small closet I found Liam looking for books on Lycanthropy in a few days ago. He shut the door behind us. "Do you want to tell me what you want with all that research?""Do you promise not to tell anyone?" Liam trusted Elias but I didn't know if I could trust him as yet."Only if you promise it's not something dangerously stupid," he ensured to put extra emphasis on the word stupid."Then it's best you don't know," I turned to leave, "I guess I'll just have to do it myself." He caught my arm and turned me around to face him. "Fine just tell me because fuck if you die my brothers will kill me after they both threatened me to watch over you.""Brother's?" I questioned."Creed and Liam," he said as a smirk rested on his face. "Not that they had to do much threatening for me to spend time with you beauty. So tell me what you up to and even if it's insane I
A few months later and our packhouse was rebuilt even bigger and stronger than before. We were lucky that the previous Alpha had a lot of assets and money in private accounts which helped us rebuild.Creed had done what his brothers asked and turned them into wolves. Their first shift was messy Elias killed two deers. He vomited for three days straight disgusted that he had consumed raw meat.Liam was more in control of his wolf compared to how the rest of us had been when we first shifted and Jordan disappeared for the night. Our pack warriors found him wandering by the roadside naked and confused the next morning. We had all found a new normal to work with. The boys opened up a shipping company in Phoenix and I went back to college to finish my psychology degree.Creed was very supportive about it and even helped me study at times. I wish he was helping me study at the moment because my brain felt bombar
A week had passed with everyone falling into a comfortable routine. I sat outside with May and Mia while I watched them play peekaboo. I always wanted daughters and May and Mia were exactly what I thought it would be like.Elias had gone to Germany with Reuel and they came back with a purple crystal on a silver necklace for Mia. The crystal would absorb her magic if she tried to do any while she wore it. Elias said it was what was best keeping her true nature from her but I believed otherwise. They also came back with tweed bracelets for the entire pack which I thought was strange. Creed ordered everyone to keep the bracelets on. When I had asked him why he would say, 'please just wear it for me, Eleanora.'As for the rest of the Cacciatore's when they woke up they were at the airport. It was like they had amnesia. We didn't let them see Creed or the rest of the boys in the case it triggered their memories.
I woke up with my head throbbing as if someone had whacked me with a baseball bat over it last night. I looked around the dark room my eyes adjusting to the minimal lighting. My memory of last night was hazy. I remembered I shifted and Creed was with me.I was running through the forest my white paws hitting the ground hard. I had smelt something deliciously mouth-watering. The other wolves couldn't catch me they were trying to stop me but I didn't want to stop.I felt this sharp pain pierce my leg before I went down to the ground. The memory caused me to look down at my leg. It was badly bruised and my skin looked like it was burned.Where on earth was I. The cell didn't look like the cells below the packhouse. As I sat up looking at the mattress and sheet on the floor. A sense of Deja vu hit me.I jumped up from my bed but then stumbled back. I felt weak and could barely stand but that was not the worst
I panted as I tried to keep up with Hera. We were running along a trail in the forest. It was a part of my training to strengthen my core. According to the other wolves, if I exercised regularly and stretched the shift wouldn't be that hard on my body. "Keep up Luna," Hera said running ahead of me and I stopped to grab a drink from my water bottle. My muscles were sore, we had been training and strengthening my core for the past week. I was exhausted and all I longed for was a pillow and a blanket. At this point I wasn't fussy I'd sleep where I dropped.I removed my shirt that was drenched in sweat and Hera's eyes widened. "The alpha has marked you as his mate," she grinned causing me to choke on my water. I was very careful the past week in hiding my mark. In a moment of exhaustion, I had forgotten."What, what are you talking about?" I stuttered in an attempt to act as if I didn't know what she was talking about and a cheeky smile overtook her face
Hera bounced the crying baby off her hip. "I honestly thought the only time I'd be going through this was when you and the Alpha decided to have children of your own," she said causing my heart to shrivel. That conversation about our relationship still hurt whenever I thought about it. I predict we would have children in the next twenty years with how Creed behaved around me.He chose not to be left alone with me. So I doubt Hera's dreams about a little one of our own would come true any time soon. Since Creed couldn't look at me let alone touch me.Sapphire walked into the room pushing a crib. "This is Arty's old crib," she said in exhaustion wiping the sweat off her brow. "We'll have to get this little princess a new one.""I still can't believe you dug that thing out of the attic," Hera said above the crying child.Sapphire stood up straight and looked at the baby. "She still hasn't sto
It had been three days since our trip to Phoenix. It felt good to see Kris again. Creed and I never spoke about what our relationship meant after that day. I knew his reasons for trying not to get too close to me but every time I saw him I felt my body gravitate to him. It's like I had blinders when he was in my line of vision I focused on nothing but him and for a moment he looked at me the same until he came back to a sense of reality and walked away. That part always felt like my heart was being torn into a million tiny pieces. I hated the fact that he pushed me away. It was agony I never felt before. Maybe it was a wolf-mate thing that I wanted to be as close to him as possible all the time but he wouldn't let me. He would run away if I got too close to him. There were times he would leave the house and shift into his wolf and run into the forest. I didn't know whether to be amused at his creativity or offended.
Creed left me and Kris alone together. I could tell he was not happy about me sharing so much with my best friend but said nothing about it because he knew how important she was to me. "Are you going to reverse it?" She asked and I just stared blankly at her. "El reverse it. You can have your life back."This life that a small part of me wanted so desperately to hold onto. "I'm Creed's mate. If I don't go through with the transition I can never have his children.""But Eleanora you don't even know what you two are to each other.""I know Kris. How can I call him mine when he doesn't belong to me. When he refuses to define our relationship and when he expresses his feelings for me on his terms. But whatever we have between us I can't make this decision without him.""You love him," she said and I looked down at the floor. "Eleanora do you love him?""Helplessly.""Then you
Creed parked the car in my campus parking lot. We got out of the car and he cracked his back, his bones making a sickening crunch sound. He looked around at the students and then at me. "I didn't know pot was legal?" He said turning in my direction.I shook my head. "Could you not be so loud." It was a quarter to three and the sun was high up in the sky. I could see the heat lines floating above the ground.Though it was quite warm out my anxiety had my body doing this weird thing of heating and cooling. My fingers were icy while my face and ears were hot. The hair on my body stood and that bubble of anxiety settled in the pit of my stomach."Where is your dorm room?" Creed asked and my mouth felt dry. He cupped my chin and tilted my head up for me to look at him. He placed a chaste peck on my lips and his green eyes settled into mine.I was immediately transported to the serene grassy and flower fields of
I paced in my room anxiously, anticipating seeing my friends again. A lot had changed in a span of a month, learning that supernaturals existed and becoming supernatural. There was a knock on the door followed by the doorknob turning and Hera sticking her head in. "Alpha Creed is downstairs. He's waiting for you." I nodded and she walked into the room shutting the door behind her."Something seems to be bothering you. Are the events of yesterday still playing over in your mind?""I had a life Hera. It wasn't the best life but a life of a working woman. I was going to struggle and I was going to make it and become someone someday and then everything changed and now I'm becoming a wolf instead.""Do you not want to be a wolf?" She questioned."It's not something I would have chose. I saw the pain Creed went through. I don't know if I'd survive my bones breaking and rearranging." Hera remained silent as she ob
