8. He's Jealous, isn't he?

"Seems like someone is busy today. " I purposely said loudly to get his attention and notice my cute face since Acquirer is writing something.

But instead of a brush on the hair or a pinch on the cheek, I received a glare from him as he turned around to look at me.

Then, out of nowhere, I heard someone screamed my name.

" Achlys, over here! " then there stood Demure, leaning against the door while waving his hand.

"Yes dumpling? " I asked him with a smirk. I want to annoy him since he disturbs me.

" What the fuck, stop making nicknames. I'm too handsome to be called dumpling." he whined as he stomped his feet like a child.

"Yeah whatever." I responded with a bored expression.

"Achlys…" then there goes the annoying puppy eyes that I can not resist.

"Can you come with me to the grocery? Just wanna buy some snacks for tomorrow. I'll buy some chocolates for you. " He said as he sprinted beside me and cling while swaying my arms from side to side. He really knows how to make me say yes.

"Ok fine!" Demure clap his head as he smiled from ear to ear. I turned to look at Acquirer and he's looking at my best friend with an intense glare. He's jealous, isn't he? I can't help but smirk as a thought rush through my mind that this would be a good play. Just try to make him feel jelly.

" Ack, I'm just going to accompany Demure ok? " I said smiling innocently like I am not planning to do something.

He looks at me for a moment and nodded shortly. Oh my, he hesitated! He's really jealous.

"Ok then, Demure let's go. Make sure you won't use my credit card. Again!" 

From the corner of my eyes, I saw Acquirer staring at me intensely and I can sense his dark aura every time Demure put his arms around my shoulder. This made me chuckle internally and pretend I didn't saw anything.

Me and this dumpling went to the grocery and began walking on the aisles with the two carts getting a push by Demure. But seems like I've left my brain on our classroom since I've been thinking about how I just left Acquirer there. I'm sorry but I'm a bit of a meanie. We entered the grocery store, demure got the cart. 

Daydreaming ended when I bumped into some big guy. I immediately apologize and went to find him. I've been daydreaming too much. As I was looking for him, I suddenly remembered the chocolate area. I'm sure he's been there since he told me he's going to pay for my chocolate.

And right, he's there holding and checking a bar of very expensive chocolate.

" That's the expensive dude! " I shouted behind him as I stared at those mouth-watering chocolate brands.

" This is a bar of very new chocolate. Want to try it out? " 

"Well yeah, you're going to pay anyway. This would be once in a lifetime so why not?" 

"You talk too much, it's hurting me dumbass!" Demure said sternly as he smacks my head making me yelp. 

"I don't even know how you became my best friend" he added while chuckling. 

"Because we are meant to be best friends." I assured him. No matter how we hurt each other's pride, well, more into teasing, we still love each other. 

I heard him sighed before putting the chocolates on the empty chart because the other one was full already.

We stroll silently as he keeps on putting snacks until the two carts got full. 

"Oh wait stay there for a moment. I'm going to grab something. " Demure said as he skipped to where he was going. I patiently waited for him.

I just stood there and looking at nowhere when I heard someone called my name. I turned my head to look at the person who mentioned my name and it's Demure. That was fast. He was holding a basket full of juice and my favorites chocolate drinks. He waved his left hand and we decide to pay. I struggled to push those carts 'coz it's so heavy. Damn, we almost bought the whole store.

After complaining about how plenty we bought in my mind, we finally reached the cashier. I look over at Demure who was picking something on the near stalls beside the cashier and when he noticed me looking at him, he suddenly smiled justifying that he'll come and pay.

As I was standing right beside Demure with the cart in my hand, I felt a man stood beside me. I'm not much a socialist so I don't really care who it is and never bother to look at it.

But then I felt him getting too close. We are not yet finished and we're taking too long since the cashier was a bit slow and we bought too much. But as the guy snuggled a bit, I smelled the familiar scent I'm slowly getting addicted to. It was Acquirer's perfume.

Being the stubborn person I am, I still didn't look up but then the guy, which I knew it was Acquirer, placed the two snacks and two chocolate drinks, mixing on the snacks we bought. I took a glimpse of the guy's hand and noticed Acquirer's ring causing me to turn my head and yes I was right, but still, I'm a hit surprise

" Ms. He'll pay it. " Acquirer said with coolness surrounding him.

" Okey sir." the cashier said with a flirting smile which made me scoff and irritated. This bitch! I look up at Acquirer at the same time he looks down at me.

" What? " he asked. I smiled at him and glared at the lady.

" Oh hi acquirer." Dumure said stopping from passing the products to the counter for a second to say hi and he starts doing it again, eyes sparkling with joy. Probably thinking it was heaven. After a long long time of spending our lives standing in front of this flirty woman who became scared when I send daggers towards her, it's finally done.

" Ms. Can you hand me those snacks and drinks to me? The one that I brought?" the cashier nodded as she handed those snacks and drinks. 

" I'll wait for you outside. " He whispered at me and proceeded outside since they are still packing the snacks and drinks into a box.

" Demure, I'm heading outside first." I demanded and he nodded, too busy looking at the snacks they were packaging. When I stepped out of the grocery store, I saw Acquirer standing alone facing a taxi in front of him, absolutely waiting for me. I walk towards him and stood beside him giving him a smile.

"Let's go." He said as he was about to open the door but I took a step backward.

"What's wrong?" He asked at me in a cold tone that sends chills over my body. 

" Let's wait for Demure." I answered. He took a step and he was already in front of me but what shocked me was when he's slowly leaning down. My heart was thumping really hard and loud but then Demure came. Acquirer helped him holding those snacks and put them inside the taxi. 

Acquirer fixed himself at the front seat while me and dumpling seated at the back. The taxi driver asked where are we going which made Acquirer looked at Demure who was already munching some snacks. Demure stopped what he is doing and looked back to Acquirer. Demure told his address before continuing what his doing. After finishing the snack, he began separating my stuff and his stuff. 

After the long drive, we arrived at Demure's house. 

"Bye guys. See you tomorrow!" he shouted and entered inside their house. 

Now, it is only I, Acquirer and the driver inside the taxi. The driver asked where we were heading but I didn't expect Acquirer to say my address. 

When we arrived at my place, he carried those snacks that we bought. I helped him open the door as he placed it in the kitchen. 

"Are you going to sleep here ?" I asked him as I seated on the couch stretching my body. I'm so tired.

" Yes. " He responded coldly I think he's still jealous. Guess it's a bit bad to make him feel jealous. He came over in front of me, towering the hell out of me.

" Stand up. " He commanded and I did what he said like a good boy.

My eyes widen when his lips pushed against mine. His lips moving against mine. Licking and biting, asking for me to open up my mouth for him to have a taste. Slowly, I was drowned by the steamy session and gave in as I open my mouth that his tongue attacks every inch on the inside causing me to moan.

"You've been a bad boy." he whispered with his husky voice which turned me on.

"Should I punish you and teach you a lesson?"
