Alaric was grasping my cheek with his hand and flooding me with the warmth his scent offered before he continued, "Maybe Xander should come and Wyatt should stay."
"Aww," I cooed playfully, "you need Daddy Xander to help you stay in line?"
"Hardly," Alaric scoffed, leaning in closer to my ear before whispering, "be good for 'daddy' Xander while we're gone, my Dear." When he pulled back his lips claimed mine in an almost desperate way.
