Chapter 24

At Riverview Villa, Felix leaned against the bar, gripping a glass of red wine. He tilted his head back and drank it in one gulp.

In front of him, a massive screen played a video of the small cabin. In the footage, Luna carried Lily, her expression a mix of relief and joy. She looked into the camera and smiled brightly, "Felix, I’m taking Lily with me."

Even after she disappeared into the cabin, Felix’s gaze stayed fixed on the screen, unblinking.

The scene repeated, showing Luna holding Lily and walking toward him again.

Smash.

The wineglass shattered in his hand, shards falling to the floor. Red wine mixed with fresh blood as it dripped from his fingers.

But Felix didn’t seem to notice the pain. His bloodshot eyes stayed glued to the screen, his voice low and hollow. "Luna, where did you go?"

Ding. Ding. Ding.

His phone lit up, vibrating on the bar as it spun. It was his private phone.

Who the hell was messaging him now?
