At Riverview Villa, before Felix even stepped out of the car, Stella came rushing toward him, her face full of sorrow.

She collapsed into his arms, sobbing. “Felix, how could Luna do this? Lily was just a child! She was a mother too. How could she be so cruel?”

Her beauty was even more striking with tears streaming down her face, the kind that would make anyone feel pity for her.

But Felix wasn’t in the mood for comfort. He gently pushed her away and asked, “What’s the story with the cornea? Is it really yours?”

His dark eyes locked onto hers, and he pointed at his left eye.

Stella’s sobs caught in her throat, and for a brief moment, panic flashed in her eyes.
