Gwen asked her mum.

She knew that David did something but she couldn't pinpoint what exactly it could be.

" David, brought me out " She heard her mum say.

" Did he threaten your husband? " Gwen was curious.

" No, he paid the money and told your father never to be a pain in our ass, " Gwen's mum said.

Gwen wasn't expecting it. She thought that David would bring her mum out to fight but he did it legally.

" That's so thoughtful of him, I will visit them tomorrow after work," Gwen said.

She remembered something and said to her mum.

" That man is your husband and not my father, I will get a divorce paper ready in no time " The vein on Gwen's forehead twitched.

Her mum was stunned.

" Don't do that, Gwen " Mrs Bautista said.

" Why!? " Gwen screamed.

" No one would want to marry a girl whose parents are divorced, they would question your upbringing," Laura said to her daughter.
