Closure
Chloe quietly followed behind Matteo to see what happened to Nero. She doesn't want to face him again, but the thought of him being hurt is enough to forget about her reservations and go see what happened to him.
She saw Nero's dad sitting in the living area, and reading a newspaper. Her feet stopped moving and she looked at him with confusion.
'If Nero's father is here, then something must be serious. I think I will meet Nero's wife as well' She thought and walked behind Matteo on shaky legs. She is not so confident anymore. The thought of looking at him with a woman who is now sleeping where she used to sleep. The woman who is being pampered like he used to pamper her. When she remembered everything, her eyes began to sting. But she bit her lip and tried to think about anything else.
Too soon, Matteo stopped in front of Nero's room and nodded his head for her to enter.
Chloe took a deep breath before walking inside the room, expecting Nero and his wife.
