Chapter 139: Could It Be?!
Rameric's POV:
Could it be?! Or, could I have possibly heard her wrong? As I thought about the sound once more, I was still kneeling on one knee in front of her. I was trying to make sense of it all. Trying to figure out exactly what it was that I heard. Was it an actual growl emitted from her? Or could it have been a bit of a whimper and I heard it differently? Or could I just be hearing things?
