Jovy thought everything was under control until it was about forty minutes for the meeting to begin and her nerve was a wreck and with trembling hands she dialed Alice.

‘I am dead scared, Alice. What…what…what if words fail me?’ She stuttered into the receiver.

‘Breath. Inhale and exhale.’ Alice said.

Jovy did as told. ‘I don't know what I might do, Alice. What if I become scared when I see him or he gets to intimidate me like he usually does?’ She panicked. It dawned on her a bit too late that she was scared to death of the man in question.

‘Jovy!’ Alice bellowed, piercing her eardrum. ‘Listen to me! You no longer owe that bastard anything! Neither does he have any form of control over you. You are in charge now and you control empires and people just like him. Way better if I might add.
