A deep scoffed escaped his throat after her words. “Damn you, Jovy! You can rot in hell with him!” Arlo turned away and left the kitchen.

“Arlo!” Tears leaked down her cheeks.

Arlo stormed out of Ol’Joe's diner with Jovy hot on his tail as he made his way to his car. He didn’t respond to her call or plead for them to settle. He drove like a maniac on the streets.

Arlo’s mind was jumbled and he felt really hurt. This feels like his first major heartbreak and it hurts more because it was coming from one of the persons he loves and respects. He didn't know where exactly he was going but he knew who he wanted to go meet.
