Rose’s POV

After taking care of some files from Madison’s table, I was finally done for the day so I left the company and was about to go to the bus station.

My phone rang and I was walking fast to the bus station because I knew that it would soon be time for that bus to go. It was already 8:00pm and I was really tired. I also didn't want to order for an uber today.

I picked it and placed it on my ear without looking at the caller ID. “Who is it? Can you call back later? I am in a kind of a hurry to go somewhere.” I said immediately but got only silence after that.

“Can you at least talk so that I know that I am speaking to a human being? You called and you are being so dumb right now.” I said and that other end laughed. For some reason, the laugh sounded very familiar though.

“Andy?” I asked and he stopped laughing.

“You finally now know who you are talking to. Why didn't you just look at the caller ID?” he asked me and I rolled my eyes.

“Why are you calling me?” I asked him bluntly
