Pregnant for Alpha Axel >>>>>>>>

Two months later* 

I sat down quietly, fiddling with my car keys waiting patiently till the doctor requests to see me again. How I hate the smell of hospital! Reminds of the sad moments when I had to sit beside Father, watching as he takes his last breath. And ever since then, I never for once miss my monthly appointment with my doctor. 

What if this time I am actually sick? The throwing ups, the early morning nausea and sickness? Have I caught the flu?

The door pushed open and the doctor steps in, in his medical lab and stethoscope hanging loosely around his neck. 

“ Sorry for the delay. Had to compile the results.”

“ It’s alright. Is everything okay with me?” I asked worriedly. 

The doctor took his seat, stretching his hands towards me. “ Congratulations!” 

“ What.. What is that supposed to mean exactly?” 

“ You are pregnant, Miss Natasha! Two months gone.” 

My ears tingle for a few minutes as if someone rang a large bell in my ear drums. How can I be pregnant? I was only sick this past few days and I believe it must be the flu or food poisoning. 

“ What do you mean by I am pregnant, doctor? I was only feeling sick and dizzy. I think it has to do with something I must have eaten. What do you mean I am two months pregnant?” I asked, pushing myself to sit up. 

“ It is boldly written in the scan, ma’am. We were confused at first and had to run the scan thrice. It still says the same thing.” 

“ No!! No!!! It can’t be true! My fiancé and I had no sexual attachment and I haven’t been with a man since our supposed to be marriage ended. So how come I am pregnant?!” I yelled at him in anger. If there is anything Nicholas 

“ I need you to calm down, ma’am. I know how frightening this can be. But I need you to rethink, are you sure you never met with anyone, prior or after things ended between you and your fiancé.” 

All of a sudden, my face went pale. No! This can’t be happening. The only person I have had sex with is Lord Sebastian from that one night stand. 

“ Are you alright, Madam?” The doctor asked, concerned. 

“ Yes.. yes, I am alright. I.. I need to leave.” 

“ We are not done yet. You need to know the dos and don'ts of pregnancy since you are new to it.” 

“ No. I don’t need to know that yet. I need to get my fucking ass on a plane! And run far away from here as soon as possible.” I said, snatching my bag from the table close to the hospital bed and dashing out. This baby must be kept a secret at all costs.

Lord Axel slammed the records shut in anger. Maybe he should be the one to go out in search of his mate and not trust this weaklings he has assigned to do the job. His place as an Alpha is being threatened and everyday he thinks of the threats from the white wolves, he reminds himself that there is a need for a heir to his throne. Someone he would train to be strong enough to lead the pack! 

Ever since he placed a request to the moon for his fated mate and heir to the throne, the moon has remained quiet. How else does an Alpha draw his strength if the moon forsakes him? Is the moon punishing him for parading around with women when he was younger? 

He was still lost in his thoughts just as the door pushed open and three young men;  Yuri, Damon and Sanghiel, stepped in. They went on their knees immediately, laying their swords far from them as a respect to the Alpha. 

“ Have you found the right one or you have come to plead that your lives be spared?” Lord Axel asks in a cold tone. 

“ May it be known to you, my lord, that we have come for neither of that.” One of the men spoke up confidently. 

“ Then why are you here?! I sent the three of you on an assignment and you have failed to deliver positive news! If the moon refuses to give her approval on any of the brides you have chosen, organize a ball and have all the ladies attend! Is that a difficult task?!” 

“ Lord Axel,” Sanghiel boss slightly, “ This we speak of is an urgent matter. The moon has finally provided an answer.” 

Lord Axel’s face lit up immediately. “ Are you saying the truth?!” 

“ Yes, Lord Axel! But this is even more worse than I think it is. The moon says that you have an heir somewhere. A young gentle lad, three years old now.” 

“ What?!” Lord Axel breaks into laughter, unable to believe his ears. “ What do you mean I have a don? No one ever gave birth for me! I was careful with all the women I ever got involved with.” 

“ According to the reading of the moon, you had an affair long time ago, Lord Axel. And you asked her to never return to your palace. The lady bore a son for you, your own heir. You must find her else because that is the heir to lead your kingdom.” 

Lord Axel frowns in confusion, trying to remember who he must have chased out of his palace out of the countless ladies he has ever had an affair.  And then it hit him.  

He remembered her face from the first night they met; drunk, heartbroken and sex craving. He remembered those slender elegant legs warapped around him pleading for more. Her pleading eyes the night she came to confront him with the pregnancy and how he had locked her up in the dungeon, not believing a word she said. 

So she was saying the truth all along? Then why did she go hiding after that day? How come he never saw her at the bar again? 

“ I need you both to find her for me; dead or alive and bring my heir home!”
