Appalled by how strong the hands on her shoulders are, she quickly whispered for another magic underneath her breaths, causing for a bright light to appear.

The magic wouldn’t hurt anyone but it was enough for her to save her shoulder from the fear of being crushed. She then stepped back to look forward, shocked to find Dominic who was the one to held her shoulders.

“Who are you?!” In panic, Mona lied. She was the one who knew about the man but the man doesn’t know about her. She couldn’t let her cover to be blown away by Dominic, not when Rose asked her not to.

“I should be the one asking that,” Dominic frowned as his eyes felt burred with the sudden bright light that had attacked him. It was clear that no human would be able to use such a magic. His eyes looked back at Mona who had appeared to be a woman in her late thirties, with brown hair and similar features as his mother, except for the fact that the woman’s vibe was world apart compared to his mother’s gentle nature. “Sorce
