Heather – POV

Pain shot through me again, a fresh wave of agony rippling through my body. Doctor Zara approached, her expression tinged with sympathy as she and the nurse moved closer to calm me. My wolf was threatening to break free, ready to lash out, and I struggled to suppress it. But no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t tame the beast inside. Doctor Zara gave the nurse a signal, and I sensed the prick of the injection, though I was more aware of it this time than usual—it wasn’t like the other moments when I’d almost slipped away.

“Don’t sleep,” Doctor Zara warned, her voice firm. “If you let go, your wolf will take over.”

I nodded, my jaw clenched, a groan escaping as I fought to keep the wolf at bay. My fingers gripped the bedsheets tightly. I twisted and thrashed against the pain as the nurse held me down. Slowly, the unbearable burning in my chest began to fade, and the torment that had consumed my body started to ebb. My eyes blinked open to the sterile white of the hospita

Heather’s POVI sit on the soft bed, gazing around the luxurious room. The antique furniture, the opulent bed, the elegant drapes, plush carpets, and the fireplace in the bedroom—it all feels surreal. I slip into soft slippers and walk around, exploring the space. A bookshelf catches my eye, and in the corner, a cozy writing desk. This all feels so unreal. Opening the wardrobe, I find clothes that fit me perfectly, along with shoes, bags, makeup, and hairstyling tools. Everything I could ever need is here, waiting for me.A knock at the door. “Luna, are you awake?”“Yes, come in,” I murmur, still feeling odd at being called “Luna.” A maid in a uniform steps in.“Luna, you need to get dressed for the meeting with the pack elders,” she says softly, lowering her head.“I don’t even know which outfit to choose,” I whisper, feeling nervous and unsure. She looks at me with understanding in her eyes.“I can help,” she offers, walking to the wardrobe and selecting a formal Jenny Packham midi d

Alpha Kayden – POVHarris opened the car door, and I stepped out, heading to the other side. Heather was slumped over, asleep, completely drained from the test. I scooped her up, carried her to the bed, and tucked her in. Something about this felt off. I had just learned this woman’s name, yet here I was, tucking her in as if it were the most natural thing in the world.Back in my office, sleep, as always, eluded me. The nightmares of war never ceased—the cries of my fallen soldiers, the anguished wails of my parents, echoing endlessly in my mind. I forced myself to focus, opening Heather’s file again, even though I had already memorised every word. Her parents were soldiers, high-ranking ones, now retired. But they weren’t spared the horrors of the war. No one was. We had been short on warriors, and the undead soldiers of the Night Angel pack had been relentless, as tough as nails.I glanced over at Heather. She had a mate once—Clive, a junior soldier from her batch. He didn’t make it

  • Their Human Mate Stella   The slient Omen

Alpha Kayden – POVI needed space, a break from the madness of preparing to marry a woman I barely know. Alaska City seemed like the perfect escape, so I drove there, hoping to drown my thoughts in a bar. A beer in hand, the gnawing discomfort inside me refused to settle. Everything felt numb. It's no surprise that love brings such agony. I swore I wouldn’t fall into that trap. Focusing on the pack was safer. It kept me from feeling vulnerable. Vulnerability was weakness, and I couldn’t afford to show it—not to anyone. My father’s words echoed in my mind: never let anyone know what you feel. They’ll manipulate you.“Thought I’d never cross paths with you again.”I glanced up. Kate stood there, a beer in hand, her face unreadable but clearly not happy to see me.“You can pretend you didn’t,” I muttered, taking another sip.She rolled her eyes and sat beside me, uninvited.“It’s only been three days, and here you are, looking for me.” Her tone was teasing, but I knew her well enough to s

Heather’s POVThe wedding vows and exchange of rings passed by in a blur. My eyes were fixed on Alpha Kayden. He placed one hand on my cheek, the warmth of his touch comforting. I closed my eyes, bracing for what came next—sharp pain. I moaned as his canines sank into my neck, marking me as his mate. It was the symbol of our union, the sign of becoming his Luna. My vision blurred from the pain and the overwhelming surge of Alpha Kayden’s power mingling with my own. I felt lightheaded until his strong arms pulled me closer, my body supported by his sturdy frame.“Relax,” he whispered softly into my ear. “Take a deep breath. You’re just panicking.” His hand rested gently on my back, steadying me as the cheers and roars of the pack faded in and ou

From the corner of my eye, I caught the sharp glint of disdain on Merina’s face. She hated me—jealous of my role as Luna. Everyone knew she admired Alpha Kayden, even jealous of Kate when she dated him, and more so of his ex-mate, Stella.“Alpha, we have an update,” Beta Harris spoke, his voice laced with unease.“Follow me to the office.” Alpha Kayden didn’t spare me a glance before leaving. I felt the familiar sting of distrust gnawing at me. After our wedding, shouldn’t he involve me in the pack’s affairs? Isn’t that what it

Heather – POVAlpha Kayden and I sat on opposite ends of a cold bench, just far enough to avoid speaking, just close enough to feel the weight of what was coming. Officers moved in and out of Kate’s apartment like clockwork, oblivious to the storm brewing between us. We couldn’t move yet. Not until they were gone.Kayden’s eyes scanned the air, sharp, focused, but distant—lost in thought. In his hand, he turned a small, dirt-smeared locket over and over, his thumb grazing its surface as if searching for answers. Answers I wasn’t sure he wanted to find.“What else did you find?” His voice cut through the silence, startling me. I fumbled, almost spilling my coffee, the heat steadying me for a second. His voice always carried that authority, always making me feel small.“Yeah…” I whispered, unsure if I should say more.“What are you waiting for?” His tone darkened, eyes narrowing as he looked at me. “For me to ask and then for you to answer?” His anger wrapped around me, tightening my ch

Alpha Kayden - POVI woke abruptly to a knock on the door. Before I could say anything, Harris stormed in, his expression weighed down with trouble. Something was wrong.“Alpha, the pack’s gathered,” Harris began, voice strained. “I tried to keep it quiet about the soldiers’ abduction, but the families who visited the wounded have learned from the doctors. Word spread. And... people are asking about the dead soldiers. I lied, but they know, Alpha. They know they’re gone. And now, they blame you.”“Fuck,” I hissed, my fist tightening. Without another word, I stormed out to the entrance. A wave of tension hit me like a wall—angry murmurs filled the air. My heart sank as I saw Heather among the crowd, her eyes betraying fear and anger. The families of the fallen soldiers, their grief now sharpened into something more dangerous—blame.“Please, listen to me—” My attempt at control was cut off by a voice that sliced through the chaos like a knife.“Alpha didn’t want to send the pack into pa

Heather’s POV“She’s not going anywhere,” Alpha Kayden’s voice sliced through the air, sharp and unyielding. I froze, sinking back into my seat. Across from me, Alpha Damon’s gaze darkened, eyes narrowing, but Stella’s gentle hand on his arm made him turn to her instead. He sighed heavily, tension buzzing beneath the surface.“My spies have been stationed near the old ruins of the Night Angel pack,” Damon began, his voice low and troubled. “Where we found the strange human heart. It almost killed me when I tried to destroy it.” Alpha Kayden’s head snapped up, his eyes locking on Stella, who gave a small nod of confirmation.“We’ve been trying to figure out what kind of dark power it holds,” Stella said cautiously, her voice strained. I could feel my pulse quicken.“So, the dark power hasn’t been eliminated?” My question lingered in the air, heavy with dread.“No,” she admitted, her eyes troubled. “It’s still active. • Their Human Mate Stella   The Journal’s Secrets

Heather's POVI sat at the breakfast table, my stomach twisted into anxious knots, completely devoid of any appetite. Kayden wasn’t around, and the test results were due by evening. The waiting was unbearable. I hated lying in bed, doing nothing to occupy my restless mind. Instead, I busied myself reading about Raven and Xael powers—their strengths, their darker sides, and the terrifying extent. But even the book couldn’t hold my attention for long. Frustrated, I set it aside and stepped out of my room for a walk to clear my head.As I strolled the halls, I noticed a group of soldiers carrying crates filled with books.“Wait,” I called out, stopping them. They froze and turned to me. The scent hit me before I even reached the boxes—Colt’s scent. My monster brother’s lingering essence clung to the books like a haunting memory.“Where are these from?” I asked, narrowing my eyes as I reached for one of the books.“From Raven’s old base,” one soldier answered with a respectful nod.“Take

  • Their Human Mate Stella   Mother’s Silent Prayer

Heather’s POVTwo months have passed, and for the first time in what feels like forever, life feels calm. There’s a certain serenity in the air that soothes my restless soul. Stretching my arms above my head, I breathe in the crisp morning air before starting my yoga routine. The warm embrace of sunlight filters through the trees, and the soft breeze kisses my skin. Yoga has become my new ritual—a gentler path the doctor recommended after I had to step back from my usual intense training. It’s strange, but this peaceful morning rhythm makes me feel more grounded. After yoga, I head inside to shower and get ready for the day. Today’s agenda is simple yet important: spending time with the Pack members, checking progress, and ensuring the food we grow will sustain us through the harsh winter. With only five months before the cold season descends upon us, I need to make sure we’re prepared—no excuses. Winter here doesn’t just knock; it storms in, unrelenting and brutal.“Harris! Good morn

Kayden - POVI stood in the ruins of the Night Angel Pack building, deep in the heart of the human city. The air was thick with decay and a sense of foreboding. “What the hell did you drag me here for?” I snapped, my patience already worn thin.“Shut up and walk,” Damon growled, his usual temper flaring. He’d barely said a word during the entire ride, but his silence nowonly added to my unease. I wanted to text Heather, let her know I was in New York and would teleport back home as soon as this was over—but of course, my phone was dead. Typical.“How long is this going to take?” I asked, my frustration bubbling over.“Honestly? I don’t know,” Damon admitted, his tone clipped.“You mentioned coming to this place,” I pressed, trying to make sense of why we were standing in this desolate hellhole.“No, I didn’t,” he shot back. “I told Stella I was going on a business trip. That’s it.”I raised an eyebrow. “You’re a dead man if she finds out you’re here. Didn’t she nearly lose you the la

Kayden's -POV It had been a week since the war with the Ravens ended, but the aftermath still lingered. My soldiers were tirelessly combing through every lead, rounding up any Raven who might have malicious intentions. Each interrogation was aimed at uncovering the whereabouts of their elders—whether they were hiding or truly gone for good. Yet my thoughts weren’t just on the war. Heather weighed heavily on my mind. Her health had become my constant concern, as she’d been falling ill more often, fevers striking with alarming frequency.“Alpha, I’m tired,” Harris groaned beside me.I rubbed my tired eyes, feeling just as drained. “We have no Omega to help out. You’ll need to push through like the rest of us. No excuses.”“Alpha, we need a break. The soldiers need it too. If we keep working like this, people are going to collapse,” Harris argued, desperation clear in his voice.I sighed deeply, conceding. “Fine. Call a day off.”Harris’s face lit up as he nodded eagerly and left to spr

Heather’s POVWhat the hell just happened?A moment ago, power coursed through me as I faced my tyrant brother, Colt, head-on. Now, it was gone. I couldn’t shift. I was stuck, vulnerable, while he stood there in his semi-shifted form—clawed hands and fur-covered arms glinting under the sunlight.“Out of fuel already?” he sneered, shifting back into his human form. His dark, predatory gaze bore into me, a cruel smirk tugging at his lips.My chest heaved as I tried to summon my strength, but nothing came. I couldn’t even answer him.“Wondering why you can’t kick my ass, dear sister?” His grin widened, sharp and merciless. “You should’ve been able to. But here’s the thing: I’ve already won.”He took a step closer. My legs refused to move.“I can paralyze your body and your powers. It’s the easiest way to make a Raven Heir useless.” His voice dropped, venom dripping from every word. “And once I kill you? I’ll take those precious powers for myself. They’ll be mine, Heather. All mine.”My h

Colt growled, seething with barely contained rage as he locked eyes with Damon.“You... you’re a Lycan. Stay out of wolf pack business!” Colt spat, his voice dripping with venom. “Lycans and wolves are enemies—you know that.”Damon’s response was chillingly calm. “And you know what? That thinking is why this feud will never end. I’m not a fool like my father, clinging to outdated grudges.”Colt froze, a flicker of shock betraying his otherwise stoic expression.“You know.”Damon’s lips curled into a faint, knowing smile. “Oh, I’ve figured it out. All this time, you and your elder Ravens have been feeding lies, manipulating egos of Lycan Alpha and Wolf Alpha, trying to twist us agains
