Heather’s POV

Janice glanced at the empty seat beside her—a silent command to sit. My heart pounded, and every instinct screamed for me to run. But I sat.

“Relax,” she murmured, sipping her coffee, her eyes never leaving mine. “I’m not your enemy.”

I scoffed. “Hard to believe.”

She sighed, a flicker of pain shadowing her face. “I don’t blame you. I rejected my mate bond with Colt the moment I saw what he was becoming.”

“What exactly happened?” I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

“I was blind,” she replied bitterly. “I followed Colt’s orders without question.”

“I didn’t even know you had a mate.”

“You never asked about personal matters. It’s one of the things I respect about you.” She sighed again. “Unlike Roselina. She’s never hesitated to pry.” My mind flashed to Roselina—the spy planted by Raven, the one who’d secured her place by carrying Alpha Altair’s child.

“How is she doing?” I asked, trying to keep my voice steady. “I heard she gave birth.”

Janice shook her head. “She’s

Alpha Kayden – POV“Alpha.” I looked up, meeting Merina’s gaze. Her eyes were soft and warm, a look I recognized from the past—the way Kate used to look at me when I was still mated to Stella. Was Merina after the same thing?“Are you going to just stare, or will you speak?” I prompted. She blinked, breaking eye contact before returning her gaze to me.“I feel that Luna Heather is acting strangely,” she whispered, her eyes dropping to the floor.“What makes you say that?” I asked, trying to keep my tone neutral.“Alpha, the maid Clara mentioned seeing Luna talking to an odd-looking bird—a raven with red eyes. It often visits her window. After these encounters, Luna seems troubled and anxious,” Merina explained.“Clara isn’t well; she’s had some mental issues. Perhaps she was just having a bad dream,” I dismissed the concern. “Even if Heather has a pet raven, what does that matter?”“Then why does she seem worried?” Merina persisted. “There’s something off about her behavior. • Their Human Mate Stella   Ravengrim

Alpha Kayden - POVThe autopsy report Harris brought in arrived late, and I read through it in the library while he called someone to fix the shattered window. The findings were disturbing: Raven was indeed a werewolf, but her heart contained a dark core—an intensity unlike anything we’d seen before. It was similar to the aura we found in the abandoned Night Angel pack building, yet this one was stronger, darker. The report went on to say that Raven’s transformation began in childhood, fueled by an herb called Henbane, a plant that only grows in the desolate lands. Henbane, they said, hadn’t been active for decades, not since Raven was imprisoned. I set the report aside, my thoughts swirling, and moved to the shelf to retrieve a book titled *Dark Realm*, written by one of Raven’s own—a wolf who had broken free from the darkness and reclaimed his purity.I admired the author’s courage, documenting a journey he had witnessed with his own eyes. The book began with King Ravengrim, the rut

  • Their Human Mate Stella   Memories in Fragments

Heather’s - POVThere had been something unsettling in Kayden’s eyes earlier, back when I was speaking with the raven bird. He didn’t ask questions—just gave me a command to pack for Paris and walked away. That silence of his was heavier than any words he could have spoken. When I came downstairs with my bags, the tension in the air was palpable. Stella smiled at me, trying to brighten the mood, but it didn’t reach her eyes. Alpha Damon stood off to the side, silent, his expression unreadable, but I could feel his discontent radiating toward me like a storm cloud. Kayden, holding a suitcase, was deep in conversation with Harris, issuing instructions to tighten pack security.“Ready for a trip?” Stella asked, her tone too cheerful for the moment.“Why are we going to Paris?” I asked, glancing between them.“To find a clue to the second key. It’s the only way to stop Raven.” Stella’s answer was matter-of-fact, but it sent a chill through me. I nodded, trying to appear calm, though the g

  • Their Human Mate Stella   The Mark of Xael

Heather’s POVIt was late at night when we finally arrived in Paris. The city lights blurred through the car window as Kayden guided me to the waiting chauffeur-driven car. The silence between us felt heavy, but he broke it as we slid inside.“I’ve booked us a couple’s room,” he said, his tone flat, almost defensive. “I don’t want Stella and Damon think…” His words trailed off awkwardly, leaving me to fill in the blanks.I turned to him, biting down the hurt that seeped into my voice. “It’s fine, Kayden. We’ve consummated the marriage, so what is there to hide?” The words came out harsher than I intended, but I couldn’t take them back. Kayden’s brow furrowed as he glanced at me, the confusion in his expression almost endearing. It was clear he was trying to say the right thing but didn’t know how.“I didn’t mean it like that,” he said after a beat, his voice softer now. “I’m sorry if I hurt you.”“You care about Stella,” I replied quietly, my chest tightening. “You want her to see you

Kayden - POVThe catacombs loomed ahead, cold and foreboding, with shadows stretching endlessly into the night. Midnight was long past, and the sharp sound of footsteps from the security guards echoed faintly. Their presence was a problem, but Stella’s voice cut through the tension like a blade.“Leave it to me,” she said, flashing a confident smile.Damon’s face lit up, pride flickering in his eyes. He loved watching Stella take charge. I understood why; even I felt a pang of admiration seeing her in action. But tonight, it was sharper—almost overwhelming—and before I could process it, my attention was drawn to Heather. Her gaze flicked toward me, laced with something raw—jealousy, maybe? Insecurity? She quickly masked it, her expression slipping into the composed indifference she wore so well.Stella stepped forward, her magic sparking to life in her hands. Within moments, the guards slumped to the ground, unconscious, while the cameras buzzed and distorted under her spell. Damon mo

Heather’s POVMy eyes darted around frantically, my breath hitching as panic clawed at my chest. Kayden’s body lay still, unconscious before me.My hands trembled. Calling Stella and Damon was out of the question—they’d know. Stella would figure it out immediately—that I’d given him the potion. The one Janice had handed to me in secrecy.I knelt beside him, my voice barely a whisper as I muttered to myself, “Think, Heather… think.” My pacing filled the deafening silence. Desperation overtook me, and I dialed Janice.“What’s up?” she answered, her voice casual, unaware of the storm raging on my end.“Problem,” I choked out. “I… I fed Alpha Kayden the potion you gave me.”“You what? Why the hell would you do that?”“It’s not important now! He’s unconscious! *What do I do?!*” My voice cracked, the weight of my mistake pressing on my shoulders.Janice sighed. “Relax. He’ll be fine. There’s a strong magic block cast on him. The potion is fighting it—it’s the disruption causing this reactio

  • Their Human Mate Stella   Shadows of Distrust

Heather’s POVThe vision blurred, and my parents’ office dissolved into darkness. When I blinked again, my eyes opened to the ornate ceilings of the hotel suite. The unfamiliar, luxurious setting greeted me, but my thoughts were elsewhere. I turned my head slightly—Kayden was still asleep beside me, his chest rising and falling steadily. Early morning light filtered through the curtains, painting the room in soft, golden hues. Stella and Damon wouldn’t be knocking on the door yet, so for now, there was peace. At least outwardly. But my thoughts refused to be quiet. What happened next? Had I rejected Kayden as my mate in that vision? The possibilities clawed at me, refusing to settle. Two things made everything infinitely more complicated: First, the growing realization that Kayden might have been my first mate—not Clive. And second, if I had rejected him, did he truly accept it? That didn’t seem like the Kayden I knew. He wasn’t the kind to back down. Yet, somehow, I might’ve forced h

Olivia is under her care, and she’s close to her due date.”As she typed, she suddenly turned the conversation to me. “What’s going on with you, Kayden?”“Nothing,” I replied flatly.“Come on, don’t give me that.” Stella’s tone was sharp, her eyes probing.“What do you want me to say?” I muttered. I could tell she was trying to get me to open up about my feelings for Heather, but I wasn’t sure what those feelings even were. Part of me didn’t want to trust her, yet another part of me couldn’t help but feel drawn to her.“Really, Kayden?” Stella’s voice carried a mix of annoyance and determination. She gave me a mock pout, attempting to coax a response.I sighed. “I’m not sure what I feel for Heather,” I admitted quietly.“Why not? I mean, you practically give her bedroom eyes all the time. • Their Human Mate Stella   The Journal’s Secrets

Heather's POVI sat at the breakfast table, my stomach twisted into anxious knots, completely devoid of any appetite. Kayden wasn’t around, and the test results were due by evening. The waiting was unbearable. I hated lying in bed, doing nothing to occupy my restless mind. Instead, I busied myself reading about Raven and Xael powers—their strengths, their darker sides, and the terrifying extent. But even the book couldn’t hold my attention for long. Frustrated, I set it aside and stepped out of my room for a walk to clear my head.As I strolled the halls, I noticed a group of soldiers carrying crates filled with books.“Wait,” I called out, stopping them. They froze and turned to me. The scent hit me before I even reached the boxes—Colt’s scent. My monster brother’s lingering essence clung to the books like a haunting memory.“Where are these from?” I asked, narrowing my eyes as I reached for one of the books.“From Raven’s old base,” one soldier answered with a respectful nod.“Take

  • Their Human Mate Stella   Mother’s Silent Prayer

Heather’s POVTwo months have passed, and for the first time in what feels like forever, life feels calm. There’s a certain serenity in the air that soothes my restless soul. Stretching my arms above my head, I breathe in the crisp morning air before starting my yoga routine. The warm embrace of sunlight filters through the trees, and the soft breeze kisses my skin. Yoga has become my new ritual—a gentler path the doctor recommended after I had to step back from my usual intense training. It’s strange, but this peaceful morning rhythm makes me feel more grounded. After yoga, I head inside to shower and get ready for the day. Today’s agenda is simple yet important: spending time with the Pack members, checking progress, and ensuring the food we grow will sustain us through the harsh winter. With only five months before the cold season descends upon us, I need to make sure we’re prepared—no excuses. Winter here doesn’t just knock; it storms in, unrelenting and brutal.“Harris! Good morn

  • Their Human Mate Stella   Heather’s Wrath

Kayden - POVI stood in the ruins of the Night Angel Pack building, deep in the heart of the human city. The air was thick with decay and a sense of foreboding. “What the hell did you drag me here for?” I snapped, my patience already worn thin.“Shut up and walk,” Damon growled, his usual temper flaring. He’d barely said a word during the entire ride, but his silence nowonly added to my unease. I wanted to text Heather, let her know I was in New York and would teleport back home as soon as this was over—but of course, my phone was dead. Typical.“How long is this going to take?” I asked, my frustration bubbling over.“Honestly? I don’t know,” Damon admitted, his tone clipped.“You mentioned coming to this place,” I pressed, trying to make sense of why we were standing in this desolate hellhole.“No, I didn’t,” he shot back. “I told Stella I was going on a business trip. That’s it.”I raised an eyebrow. “You’re a dead man if she finds out you’re here. Didn’t she nearly lose you the la

  • Their Human Mate Stella   Bound by Love

Kayden's -POV It had been a week since the war with the Ravens ended, but the aftermath still lingered. My soldiers were tirelessly combing through every lead, rounding up any Raven who might have malicious intentions. Each interrogation was aimed at uncovering the whereabouts of their elders—whether they were hiding or truly gone for good. Yet my thoughts weren’t just on the war. Heather weighed heavily on my mind. Her health had become my constant concern, as she’d been falling ill more often, fevers striking with alarming frequency.“Alpha, I’m tired,” Harris groaned beside me.I rubbed my tired eyes, feeling just as drained. “We have no Omega to help out. You’ll need to push through like the rest of us. No excuses.”“Alpha, we need a break. The soldiers need it too. If we keep working like this, people are going to collapse,” Harris argued, desperation clear in his voice.I sighed deeply, conceding. “Fine. Call a day off.”Harris’s face lit up as he nodded eagerly and left to spr

  • Their Human Mate Stella   The Battle

Heather’s POVWhat the hell just happened?A moment ago, power coursed through me as I faced my tyrant brother, Colt, head-on. Now, it was gone. I couldn’t shift. I was stuck, vulnerable, while he stood there in his semi-shifted form—clawed hands and fur-covered arms glinting under the sunlight.“Out of fuel already?” he sneered, shifting back into his human form. His dark, predatory gaze bore into me, a cruel smirk tugging at his lips.My chest heaved as I tried to summon my strength, but nothing came. I couldn’t even answer him.“Wondering why you can’t kick my ass, dear sister?” His grin widened, sharp and merciless. “You should’ve been able to. But here’s the thing: I’ve already won.”He took a step closer. My legs refused to move.“I can paralyze your body and your powers. It’s the easiest way to make a Raven Heir useless.” His voice dropped, venom dripping from every word. “And once I kill you? I’ll take those precious powers for myself. They’ll be mine, Heather. All mine.”My h

My body was tense, every nerve on edge.Colt snarled again, frustration seeping through his glowing red wolf eyes. His fur bristled as if he could sense my plan, but he wasn’t ready for me to strike yet. Not yet.“Why are we stalling?” Odin barked, his voice pounding in my skull.“You’re missing the bigger picture,” I replied coolly. Even as Colt’s claws tore into me with a few painful slashes, I kept my focus. His smirk told me he thought he had the upper hand—but he didn’t. Colt growled, seething with barely contained rage as he locked eyes with Damon.“You... you’re a Lycan. Stay out of wolf pack business!” Colt spat, his voice dripping with venom. “Lycans and wolves are enemies—you know that.”Damon’s response was chillingly calm. “And you know what? That thinking is why this feud will never end. I’m not a fool like my father, clinging to outdated grudges.”Colt froze, a flicker of shock betraying his otherwise stoic expression.“You know.”Damon’s lips curled into a faint, knowing smile. “Oh, I’ve figured it out. All this time, you and your elder Ravens have been feeding lies, manipulating egos of Lycan Alpha and Wolf Alpha, trying to twist us agains
