Absent Father

MANDY'S POV

Seven had been untouchable since the night of the mating ball. He was talking about a certain mystery lady he had the privilege to be acquainted with. I had not had a chance to meet her because she did not return to him after their night of passion.

Seven said she had disappeared without a trace.Maybe she was not the one for Seven I thought. I had been busy trying to get my mother to let me see my father but she has refused with every chance I tried.I was becoming suspicious of the whole situation.

My mother was not one to be trusted hence my reason for being unsettled.

I also remembered not once in my life seeing her and father share a bedroom. She for as long as I had known she had her own room and she allowed no one to step foot in it except for Seven.

She had made it very clear to me by beating me to a pulp when she found me in there with Seven that I was not wanted in there. How was it now that she suddenly resided in our father's bedroom? It wasn't adding up.
