Proclamations of wants and ownership were clearly written all over the letter. I couldn't believe what I read even after a while, and it had actually been sealed off with the royal household stamp, so I knew it was real.

King Jonathan, who was now king, apparently was inviting me to come see him at the palace. He couldn't be stupid or naive enough to send that kind of letter through.
