CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND SEVEN

I and Hades spent the rest of the day just talking, catching up. I was really trying to distract him from thinking about that stupid letter from Jonathan, but I could tell it was still seriously disturbing him.

We were both lying on the bed, facing the ceiling. The whole inn was quiet and so was the surrounding area.

It was as if everyone knew that I and Hades were here and were even too scared to make any noise. It was...quiet and nice to be honest.

"How do you think he was able to send the letter?" Hades asked me.

"I don't know. You are the one who is protector of the barrier. How did it even get to you?" I asked, turning my head to look at his profile.

"One of the guards I stationed there

brought it to me when I was at the camp" he replied.

"And you left in anger instead of coming to talk to me about it" I said, I guess I was still a little angry.

"I won't do that again" he said, sounding sorry.

"Well, he must be one determined person to actually be able to send it through. I won
