Chapter 40: Escape 2

Isabelle ran deeper and deeper into the forest. She ran as fast as her legs could carry her. After a while, she stopped to catch her breath. She was only surrounded by trees. There was a full moon and she could see her suuroundings. She wondered if her brother was now aware of her escape.

The ground was wet because of the previous rain. She decided to rest for a few minutes. She realised that she hadn't made a very good plan. It would take hours for her to get to the closest town. she took out a bottle of water and drank out of it. Getting back some strength, she started her journey.
