I take a deep breath as we get ready to enter the pack house again. This is my home now so I will not let somebody make me feel not welcome in my own home. Even with the knowledge that they will be going home soon, it seems like the rest of the time that they are here is going to just drag.
"We need to get a pack dinner going for tonight. It is customary for the entire pack to be able to meet visiting alphas. It should be closer to a party than just a dinner so can you get ahold of my mother and Scarlett to get some decorations and food figured out while I work on a schedule with Kevin for guards. I will have someone walk you to Scarlett's house so we can get more done." Dante offers.

The pack shows up in numbers to put on this party for the other pack. Each family brings enormous amounts of food. We have a pack dinner almost every weekend but we never have this many pack members show up at the same time. The party wound down pretty soon after we headed up to bed. Some of the pack members hung around long enough to clean up the mess that was left after we went to bed.Stretching and groaning, I debate whether or not I really want to get up and face the day. I guess that since the secret of my strenth is out to the Red Moon Alpha, we might as well use it to our advantage. It made more sense to keep it a secret but since that is no longer an option we might be able to spin it another way. Dante and I have been debating on how we want to handle this since he saw me sparring with Kevin and the only way to use it that I can see is to show Kiba up in a sparring match as well. Scarlett and I spent most of the afternoon shopping and eating. Apparently, if she eats nonstop she does not feel nausea. So, we stopped to eat almost every hour. I started out keeping up with her but eventually had to tap out. Now, it is time for us to get ready for the tournament. We have planned for it to start in about an hour so I am trying to rush and get dressed so that I can eat something before we start.Going downstairs, Dante and I both grab a quick protein filled breakfast before heading out back to watch as the tournament begins. We are both in it but we are not in the first couple of matches. We set the matches up using the quickest and fairest way that we knew how. We put names in a hat and picked two out for each match.There is a total of around 100 wolves competing in the tournament. All except for one of the wolves from the Red Moon pack are competing. The next wolf that I am to fight I have not actually met before. I believe that he was in the group that went to look for Quin with us when he was attacked by the witches. So far, I have liked the wolf even though I do not know much about him. He listened well to what Dante told him to do but I do not know much more about him to have an opinion on him.We start to circle each other, and he looks a little nervous about fighting his Luna. I have heard that most of the warriors think that Kevin has been exaggerating my skills since I am Luna so he is most likely afraid that he will hurt me. As I wait for his attack, I notice that a lot of our pack has gathered around to watch what happens.Finally, he dives at me and tries to get a low punch to the abdomen in but I turn sharply and bring my knee up into his gut instead. As the heat slowly begins to fade, I get more and more worried about Dante. Why haven't I seen or heard from him yet? Where could he be? I have faith that he is not injured because I am sure that I would know about it, but what could be keeping him?After what feels like an eternity, I start to shiver and pull myself out of the bathtub. With the heat gone, I find that I can finally stand up without my legs giving out, so I peel off my drenched clothes before grabbing a fluffy robe to throw on and walking towards the bed again. I am exhausted after that. From what I was told my heat takes up to 3 days though so it can't be over yet. The sandwiches eventually got eaten after we had another round of burning calories. Once I wake up again from my next nap, I notice that I feel a little different than after the last few naps. This time, I feel lighter and more energized. Poor Dante is still passed out on the bed, not even stirring. I must have worn the poor guy out.Hopefully, this is a sign that my heat is ending. As I get up and stretch, I notice that the sun is just now coming up over the horizon.
