"So, does this mean that you like it?" I ask Chelsea while trying not to laugh once again."This....is.....AMAZING! This is so cool! Is this room really all for me?" She asks excitedly."Yes, of course it is. There is also a bathroom attached and a large closet. Right now we only have a couple of outfits for you but I will have Scarlett take you shopping at some point so that you can finish filling it with clothes." I tell her.Her eyes grow wide at the thought of all of the clothes that she could fit into a large dresser. Her mouth grows into a small smile before she turns and rushes towards the other two doors to open them both up. The first door just happens to be the closet. It is large enough for her to take about twenty steps into before she met the other door.Spinning back towards me she says, "This many clothes! Who has this many clothes? That is crazy!""Well, you do not have to fill it. You will find that it is easier than you think though. Especially when you go shopping w
The cinnamon rolls were definitely a hit with Chelsea but we rushed over to see if we could help with building more houses for the other pack. Chelsea has not stopped babbling our entire walk over about her new room and everything that she wants to learn in training. She really wants to do a bit of everything when it comes to training and that is something that I am more than happy to help her with soon."Do you think that the other kids in the pack are going to like me?" Chelsea says finally slowing down a little bit.I cannot help but stop and turn towards her. She is standing in front of me with her hands held loosely in front of her. Her eyes are downcast as she waits for me to respond to her. I kinda doubt that she has had the chance to meet new kids often so this must be a bit of a big deal for her. Not only does she have a new family to get to know but she also has an entire pack to meet as well."Chelsea, I have no doubts that they are going to like you. You do not have to mee
By the end of the evening I am beyond tired once again. Not so tired that I cannot enjoy walking Chelsea to her new room and helping her settle in. Her excitement is bubbling down a bit as her own exhaustion begins to sink in. Still, the thought that she gets to sleep in her own room tonight is enough to keep a little bounce in her step as we make our way back to the pack house."Do I get to see the witch house as well?" Chelsea asks as we round the corner leading to the house."At some point I will take you there. Let's get you settled in more before I take you to the witch house. I can make sure that you have a room there as well but it will not be quite like here. They will all accept you but you will not be able to do some of the same things that the witches do and there are no kids there." I tell her."Why aren't there any kids? Do the witches not like kids?" She asks me confused."Not at all. Lately the witch breed has found it extremely difficult to have babies. Luckily, the Mo
With the witches help it did not take long for us to finish the new town for the pack. It took much longer for us to get all of the children used to having the freedom to run around once again. By the time everybody had their own houses and were getting to work on decorating them, the children were once again pushing boundaries and acting more like children than they had been below ground. Chelsea is now getting ready to come to training with me for the day. We have decided to hold off on starting her in school until the new year. Instead, she will finish off school for this year at home. There is only a month left until the year ends so she can get to know the children before she is lumped in with them for an entire day.She had problems sleeping last night knowing that today she was going to get to start training for the first time. All night she kept rambling on about everything that she wants to learn with the other children. So far, she has only seen the others from afar and thi
Chelsea does not disappoint in her first class. She was right that she does not have some of the skills that the other children have but she has no problems keeping up with them during training. She moves faster than any of the others in class and focuses on learning so much that I know that she will be one of the first to move up to the next level if she keeps it up.The little boy that shared a smile with her spent the entire lesson helping her out whenever she struggled with learning anything. He was sweet and patient when showing her how to do some of the stretches and some of the simple punches. He even made her laugh with a few jokes when she was getting frustrated. When Kevin walks over and stops to talk to me I am happy to get caught up on some of the goings on in the pack since I was gone. I feel like I am only an occasional pack member at this point but that is something that is going to have to change now that I am getting closer to having this child. "I see that Chelsea h
"So, how did training go today?" Dante asks when we meet him back at the house for dinner."Chelsea made herself a friend already." I gush out instantly. From across the table, Chelsea gives me an angry look. Maybe I should have let her tell him first but I am so happy for her that it is hard to wait. Dante is going to be just as thrilled as I am that she is already making friends. The fact that that friend just so happens to be the nephew of our Beta is even better. It will be much easier to get to know his family better and trust them hanging out more."Wow, way to ruin my surprise." She says sticking her tongue out at me."I am just so happy for you. I am sorry, you can finish telling him." I say sheepishly."Well, there is not much to tell. We just met. He was nice to me though. So I like him." She says softly."Him? Well does him have a name then?" He asks interestedly.Chelsea's face turns a light pink as she studies her plate. She uses her fork to push the food around before s
All week long Chelsea continues to grow and thrive in her martial arts lessons. In less than a week she has already gotten the basics down and is able to learn some more of the advanced moves with some of the older kids. Her focus is amazing as she learns moves at a rate I have never before seen in a child.Tonight is the first pack dinner since she has been with us and we have invited the Luminiscence pack to join us for the night. We want them to feel comfortable and get to know thre rest of the pack a little better. Even some of my Coven are planning to join us for the night. Originally, Chelsea had planned to sit this dinner out but now that her and Caleb are friends and the rest of her friends from her other pack are coming, she is looking forward to it. When Scarlett and I took her shopping her face had lit up at so many clothes and toys that she now has entirely too many options to choose from. I did not even ask her if she wanted some of the items as her excitement was hard t
When the other pack sees my Coven is joining us they slow down a bit. Things are still a little tricky between their pack and witches after the last few years that they have had. They have an underlying fear of the witches that will not go away just because these are different witches than the ones that terrorized them. Actually, the ones that are led by Aurora are currently staying with my Coven so that we can keep an eye on them at all times.I catch Frank's eye and smile before walking towards them. It looks like they managed to get the entire pack here. All of the orphans are following Frank shyly while the wolves that we managed to rescue from Simonetta are waving to a few of our pack that they have gotten to know in the past."Where is Chelsea?" Frank asks me after a brief hello.I turn and point to where she is playing with Caleb in the dirt. "She made a new friend this week in training. They have been inseparable ever since. He is actually staying with us tonight." I tell him.
