"Do you really think that you are going to be able to intimidate me into just letting you pass?" Aurora snears.

"No, I just wanted you to know that you do have the option. You are not a robot. You have a voice. If you want it heard then you have to make sure that you are heard. Nobody is going to do it for you." I tell her.

The witches in my Coven were all turned into machines by Morden. They did not know how to become their own people. They did not even get to learn every aspect of magic that they wanted to. Instead, they only learned what she allowed them to and had to deal with not knowing any more about their powers. It took quite a few trust exercises, competitions and extra training sessions for them to begin opening up more. Now, it is almost laughable to think that any of them were willilng to go along with everything that Morden had made them do. If I were to ask them to do some of the stuff that she had told them to do then they would openly revolt.

    Simonetta stares at me in anger as she processes what I said. She still does not see werewolves as equals. I can see the gears turning in her eyes as she thinks over what I said to her. There is no way that she agrees with me about being a bully but I want to see how she justifies what I said to her."I am no bully. I am just top of the food chain.     Simonetta thankfully does not try to follow us. I did happen to release the Coven just as we were passing so there is a chance that she was held up by those that used to follow her. They definitely did not seem too pleased with her when we were walking past. "Did you see their faces?" Hazel says as she rushes up to walk next to me. I am unable to stop the giggle that escapes as I glance over at her. This was by far one of the most rewarding punishment that has been handed out by the Goddess.     The walk to the pack territory goes rather smootly after all. We do not encounter any more witches as the next few hours pass. The walk itself goes quickly without being stopped by any others. When we get within a mile of the territory, I feel the Earth responding to a group walking towards us.As they get closer, I prepare myself for who all it could be. It is most likely witches coming to stop us before we get too close to the pack's territory. There is a chance that they were just luring us into a false sense of security so that we would let our guard down before we finally made it to safety.Hurriedly, I cast the illusions back on all of the rescuees so that they are once again hidden in plain sight. If it is the witches I do not want them to be able to see who they are looking for right away.     When I finally begin to wake up we are already back underground with the pack. It takes me a while to gather what is going on as there are so many voices around me. Finally, I am able to pry my eyes open just a crack. There is a hand holding onto mine and without even looking I know exactly who it is. What I did not expect, is that my father is sitting next to me on the other side as well. I seem to be in some type of hospital room underground."What is going on?" I ask groggily.It feels like there are razorblades in my throat as I try to talk. I am not quite sure that my words were easily discernable without proper lubrication but Dante seems to have no troubles figuring out what I need most.     That night, I can hear the party going from my bedroom but so far I have managed to keep myself away from everyone. Not necessarily because I do not want to see them all but because I can still feel the exhaustion coursing through my body.     I already know from the way that Elle looks at me that things did not go quite as smoothly with her son as she had hoped.     "What is that noise?" I ask sleepily sometime later.From outside I can hear a bunch of yelling. Earlier I would have said that it was from everybody having a party but this sounds different.     It did not take long at all for the Hybrid Council to arrive. They all file in looking a little shocked to see Simonetta there, unable to use her magic as she floats slightly in the air.     Simonetta rushes towards me using wind to guide her speed. It is not enough to throw me off guard though and I shove a wall of dirt up in front of me. She almost crashes into it before she is able to skid to a stop at the last second.     Each team splits up and gets ready to make their way through the obstacle course. They are all going to have to take turns trying to make it through safely. Each team has a designated amount of time before they get elminated. The one that makes it through the fastest and with the least amount of mistakes, will be the ones to win the competition. The course is very similar to the one that we did with the entire pack when we first started training. The one that really got the women moving faster as they fought to make good time through the course to beat the men. This one is just a little more geared towards children and not fully grown adults.Some of the obstacles are smaller to better accomodate their size, some things are closer together and they have even added some new obstacles that would have been difficult for the adults.     It takes much longer than planned to get the babies ready for travel. I have never packed a diaper bag before but luckily Scarlett shows up to help me get them ready and squeal over the twins for a minute.     The first night with the babies was quite a bit of a learning curve. Whenever we put them in their bassinets they just started to cry nonstop until we picked them up again. It took a couple of hours to find out that if we put them into the same bassinet they were able to sleep peacefully and not wake us up. By the time we managed learning that, I was beyond exhausted and ready to sleep.
