Amora's Point Of View
"Mom!" I kept yelling repeatedly.
"Hey!" Someone kept shaking me till I was fully conscious of my surroundings and who was holding me.
"Hey! It's me, you are safe! You are safe! He can't get you here, they can't," she said as she pulled me up from the bed and pulled me into a hug. Holding me tightly to her chest.
"It's fine, baby girl! You have me and I am here for you like always," she said consoling me. "You can cry all you want but I am here," she added. As I continued sobbing into her shoulder.
"He smirked harder than before," I said to her amidst my tears.
"Her face was fully black from the burnt," I added.
"He couldn't lift a finger after what was done to him," I continued ranting and sobbing.
"Why can't I get over it? It was more vivid like it happened two days ago," I said to her.
"It's okay, it is fine. This is the norm, you will only be shaken but you will be fine, like always, you know?" She said, patting me on the back.
"They don't look fine," I said to her, remembering the scene like it just happened.
"You know they are, they are fine. Resting in perfect peace and looking down proudly at you, at how far you have come. They are guarding you from their abode," she whispered into my ear.
"Are you sure?" I asked.
"Ok course, I am! I am very sure, don't mind what you saw but they are fine," she reassured me.
"You don't have to explain what you saw but it is fine and it is far off. You are safe," she said immediately as she released me from the hug and made me look at her.
"He was smirking harder than before and smiling like what he did was something to be proud of. He looked so happy while I felt my heart tearing and shattering at the loss I caused myself at the expenses of my happiness. Am I happy now? No, I am not and will never be," I sobbed the more as the pictures came running through my mind.
"Come on, don't say that! Don't blame yourself, she told you not to," she said to me, cupping my tears filled face in her hands.
"I will be guilty for life," I admitted.
"Please, get a hold of yourself, have you forgotten?" She asked me.
"I wish I could, but I can't. It won't let me forget," I informed her.
"He isn't worth all these tears so please stop crying and try to put this all behind, you have to get a hold of yourself and please forget that shit. I know it's hard but you have to do it, for your own good, please," she pleaded with me.
"Must you always cuss in all situations? Must you?" I asked her, I was beginning to calm down, I was shaken to my core.
"Yes, I have to. Where is the humor?" She asked with a shrug.
"But realistically speaking you need to shut him whenever he comes trying to disorient you." She added.
"I will try my best," I answered her.
"Now, try going back to bed. You need it, you are going to have a long day tomorrow from your gigs." She said as she coerced me into sleep.
***** Deven's Point Of ViewI tossed on the bed, back and forth, sweating profusely. After so much tossing, I sat up immediately panting heavily. I had been running, running fast and far to keep myself safe.
I flew out of the bed into the bathroom, turned on the shower as I let the water wash down my fears, my anger, my sorrow, my suffering away. My head was banging terribly, it ached badly as a cold sensation ran through my hot body.
I was on fire and the water wasn't working its trick in calming me down like before instead it was doing the opposite. I switched the shower off and walked back to my closet, grabbed a short and a long satin coat.
I went into the kitchen and took some nerve calming pill to calm myself down but it felt stuck in my throat even though it wasn't.
"Are you okay, sir?" Miss Donna asked me.
"Yeah! I am," I answered her, she startled from my hoarse voice.
I walked out of the kitchen still sweating and went into the living area to get a drink when Jordan and two others came running to me.
"Sir, we caught them. They are locked in," he informed me.
"Good," I said to him, dismissing him.
My inside turned in excitement for some miserable creatures in my trap. I went back inside my room and changed into something more appropriate then proceeded to the judgment quarter.
They were chained and placed into big bowls of extreme cold water but I wasn't satisfied as I imagined his face on them.
"Add more ice to the bowl," I ordered as the stupid werewolves mumbled in protest.
"For how long have they been in there?" I asked Jordan.
"An hour plus," he said.
"Why didn't you inform me on time?" I yelled at him.
"You were sleeping, we can't disturb you," he replied.
"Damn it!" I yelled, I turned to look at them as two of my guys were adding the ice and I noticed they were still in their clothes.
"Why are they still in their clothes?" I yelled as I threw a hammer in no direction. "Why?" Lunging at Jordan.
"Because there is a lady among them," he said fearfully.
I looked at the creatures then back to Jordan, "and so? Do you want to take her place?" I asked him hoarsely.
"No!" He cried out immediately.
"Then do a good job and strip them naked into that bath," I ordered.
There was a lot of mumbling and protesting or begging, I don't know. I don't care. My phone rang and I just had to pick because of the caller.
"Are you okay?" He asked immediately as I picked up his call.
"What?" My voice was still hoarse.
"I ought to be there but I had an emergency, should I still come?" He asked.
"No!" I answered immediately.
"I know it's been two days and it's worse but it's fine," he said.
"I don't think so!"
"Then I need to come," he said again.
"Don't! I'm going out for a drink!"
Amora's Point Of View"Table five! Then table six Amy, you are needed at table five opposite table eight. Move it, today is crowded. No sluggishness, please!" The supervisor in charge yelled at me.Can't I pee in peace again? This is the most stressful job I have ever come across on this app. Like what the heck is going on around here? Look how crowded it is, everyone is busy! 'Amy this''Amy that''Amy, table one!' 'Amy table four' when will Amy rest? Just when? I have been up since morning and I can't even take a pee in peace! If Amy can't rest, definitely Amora won't either. The description of this job didn't indicate that I will be moving up and down throughout my stay, all I simply thought was I would be staying behind a counter not walking around tables. I walked up to table five where a young lady I guess she's still a teenager. The dress hugged her body so tightly and I could see some discomfort on her face and more when the elderly man seated beside her wouldn't keep his h
Deven's Point Of View "I am so going to kill her! Oh my goodness! What am I going to do?" I screamed as I walked out of the bathroom for the umpteenth time."Urgh!" I groaned as I laid flat on my face on my bed."What the heck did she give me?" I questioned myself against my bed."Was I poisoned? She dare not!" I yelled as I got up immediately in shock. "What if she really poisoned me? What if she was sent by my rivals?" I said perambulating. "No!!!" I yelled."Sir! Is everything okay?" Someone asked me amidst my stress. I don't need this now."Who is that?" I struggled to ask as I turned to face whoever it was."Sir, Felix!" He answered."Ohh… you… how can… can I help you?" I groaned as I walked back to the bed."I heard you scream so I came to check upon you, sir! Is all well?" He asked fidgeting on his spot. What's wrong with him?"Are you the new guy?" I asked as I held my stomach, the movement was terrible. The loud low dull continuous noise and turning in every direction prod
Amora's Point Of View"How was work yesterday?" Gianna shouted immediately as she barged into my room."Hectic! Chaos! Chaotic! Illegal!" I mentioned as I mindlessly scroll through my phone."Wow! Give me a detailed gist of what happened!" She requested as she jumped on my neatly made bed."Ouch!" I cried out."What is that?" She asked. Doesn't she know what she just did?"Are you asking me that? Didn't you feel your foot hitting something?" I asked her, as I rubbed my thumb against my big toe."No! I don't… I didn't," she replied feigning innocence."Stop being a terrible liar!" I yelled at her. "You used your hardened foot to hit my tender big toe!" I explained, staring at her in the eyes and just as I expected, she started laughing."Who does that?" I complained, "aren't you supposed to apologize to me for being uncultured? Who jumps on someone else's bed when the person is seated in the middle, leg criss crossed? Like who does that?" I complained, she is just too mannerless and un
Deven's Point Of View"Sir?" I heard someone's voice in my room calling out to me."Sir!" Again. Oh, Jordan!"Sir?!" For the third time. Then there was a knock on the bathroom door. What the heck?"What do you want?" I yelled for him to hear me clearly."The meeting, sir!" He responded."Which is more important? My health or the meeting?" I asked him."Sir? I think both but in this very moment, the meeting sir," I heard him say."What?" I yelled before slamming the door into his face."Ouch!" He cried out."Are you crazy or what?" I asked him."Cancel the meeting and reschedule it to some other day so that I won't be unfortunate," I ordered before proceeding to my bed. I laid fully on my chest when I remembered something."On your way out, call me Felix!" I commanded him."But sir…" he struggled with his throat, "I… I… a… am… s… so… s… sorr… so… soor… sorry… si… r…" he struggled, he looked pale just from having his neck tightened from my mind. I released him and he wasn't told before
Amora's Point Of View"Hi! Why? I told him what I wanted! College girls need money more than you think!" I sang and danced as I stirred the eggs I was frying.I turned the fried scrambled eggs into a bowl and covered it. I proceeded to take another egg, two, before doing the necessary ritual and routines my eggs pass through in my hands."Gia!" I yelled from the kitchen."What? Don't you remember how to fry a egg again?" She yelled back from her room. She is far off, I'm safe."A egg?" I yelled."What?" She responded."What's a egg? Is that what you were taught in school, English class?" I asked, yelling loud enough so she could hear me clearly."I don't know, not like that will make the egg stop me from eating it," she responded.I added some bell pepper, crayfish, onions and some greens to my unscrambled eggs."This is perfect!" I uttered excitedly to myself. After transferring my egg to a plate, I added my bacon and hot dog to the pan."Aren't you done?" A voice startled me, I almo
Deven's Point Of View"Man! It's been thirty minutes plus since you promised to come check up on me and yet you aren't still here!" I yelled into the phone."Mr Deven, can you please calm down?" He said to me in a very calming tone which was getting on my nerves."I can't calm down! I can't! I am about to die here and you have the gut to tell me to calm down, I can't! Get yourself here, now!" I ordered but I know my ordering doesn't work on him."A dying man? You just have to calm down, I have got tons of patients waiting patiently for their turns to be attended to. I will be there when everything is under control here," he explained to me."Under control? When will that be? I am not under control here! And when you get here, there is a big possibility that nothing will be controllable, so get here now!" I yelled aggressively at him."Can you stop yelling? The phone is on speaker, you are scaring my patients!" He warned me."I won't stop until you get here!" I yelled again."Then I gu
Amora's Point Of View"So was that a new gig?" Gianna asked me from where she sat."No! It was a gig review of what I did," I responded."And what does it say?" She asked with concern."Yesterday's gig, it wasn't too bright, just the usual 'Miss Amora Channing is good as…', it is always good, nothing more," I said to her."It will be fine," she tried consoling me."Aren't you going to the factory together?" I asked her."I don't know!" She answered with confusion."Why won't you know? Don't you want to make money?" I asked her."Of course I do but do you only go to work because you want to make money?" She asked me."What the heck? Of course! Why else will I be doing that? No! Because I get to make money from it, that is my only reason. I am not someone who likes working hard for an invalid reason," I said to her. What! Go to work because I don't need money?"If money is not involved, I am not interested," I said to my friend's face."Why will you say something like that?" She asked m
Amora’s Point Of ViewI startled as the screeching sound of the tires tore through the air, shattering my heart as I thought the worst had happened. I felt my heart jump into my throat as I heard Gianna’s scream simultaneously. The time seemed to slow down to a crawl at the moment like in the movies as I tried lunging forward to grab her in a way to yank her out of the car’s way. I was too late but fortunately the car skidded to a sharp halt mere inches away from her but the shock caused my friend to hit the ground.I was so pissed and this is just a delay mechanism I can't afford. I was breathing heavily and didn't notice at first, I slowly knelt beside Gia who was on the floor with her skirt tangled around her legs which caused it to tear. She was also clutching her knee which had a big scrape and it had begun to bleed.“How did this happen?” I wondered to myself as anger surged within me for the driver of the SUV that almost hit us.I also felt the shock as the effect of the near m
