“What do you mean by that? She can't go to work like this!” I pointed out to him sharply.

“And she needs a new skirt! Can't you see the one she is wearing is torn and unacceptable?” I questioned him as his nonchalantly attitude was starting to irk me.

“I am fine!” I heard from Gianna as I turned to look at her sharply, she shook her head weakly upon seeing my face.

“What do you mean by that? When did you become a weak coward?” I asked her as her face became flushed with embarrassment.

“I will be fine!” She insisted, ignoring my question but from her trembling hands, I knew she was not fine! She was still in shock and even if the car hadn't hit her, she still needed to be checked.

“She said she is fine, I don't understand why you will push this further! She wasn't hit by the car and neither were you! But I honestly wish the car had hit you by the mouth! If you don't have anything sensible to say then I am off!” He said gutturally.

“I can't believe you!” I uttered
