Chapter 32

As Megan knocked heavily on the wooden door of Bailey's house, she couldn't help but think about her life. For the past five years, she never actually found happiness. It has been a mountain of unending leaps.

With this thought, she couldn't help but think if she would one day be truly happy.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a creak from Bailey's door and Megan expected to see Bailey, but instead she was greeted with the sight of a blond haired man.

“Oh, hello”. He stutters a little. He didn't expect to see Megan by the door, which was strange because Megan knocked earlier. He was struggling to put on his shirt to cover up his muscular abs.

“Umm hi”. She replied, trying as much as possible not to make the situation more awkward. He quickly passed by Megan. “See you later, Bailey”, he said in a hoarse voice. And with that, he stormed off walking away to wherever he lives.
