Chapter 147

Stephanie shook her head and walked past her as if she did not care what was happening. Megan was worried. What the hell just happened? Why is she running off and most importantly, where was she running to?

Megan heard the sound of footsteps from the rear and turned to see a couple of men dressed in black suit and in the middle of them all, she saw her brother, Enzo.

What the hell is going on? They were already married so she could not even think it was a problem where he spring a surprise proposal on her so what is she running from?

She turned to run after Stephanie who did not stop.

“Stephanie, wait! Talk to me please.”

“Did you know? It is just t even possible that you don’t know. How did I allow myself to be fooled by you and your family!”

“I don’t understand you, Steph!” Megan shouted as she closed in on the girl who has slowed down a little.

“Your brother is in the Mafia and to make or worse, he is not just on the Mafia, he is THE Mafia boss! How did I miss that?”
