Chapter 116

Megan paced back and forth the length and breath of the room she shared with Alex. She had changed to her nightwear after taking her bathe, she hoped that Alex would return before she was done with her bathe but her hopes had been crushed when she came out to find out that Alex was not yet back from the office or wherever he went tomorrow his emergency meeting.

It’s been three days he left the mansion and she has not heard anything from him.

At first when she called his line, it rang but on the second day it went into voicemail, she sent series of text messages to Alex but none was replied, she even went far to call his office but the lady who picked up said Alex was not available and she should leave a message if it was important but she ended up ending the call in frustration.

Her tummy rumbled as she kept on thinking about why Alex was not back yet.
