NATALIE.

“That was exhausting,” I gasp as I take a seat at the back of the mansion.

A total of thirty eight Alphas, their lunas, and at least a contingent of twelve wolves arrived and had to be sorted in rooms while also making sure that enemies were not on the same floor.

I totally get why the rooms are necessary now.

And I also need to inform Damien that we won't be having any more conferences for as long as I live.

“Ah, my back hurts,” I whine as I stretch and try to get the kinks out.

A bottle of orange juice is thrust into my face, startling me.

“Oh, my goddess,” I start as I lean back, away from it.

I look up and see Pan holding the bottle, with that same besotted smile on his face.

“I am sorry,” he says as he drops his hand. “I saw how exhausted you were and I thought a drink would be nice. I didn't mean to scare you.”

“It's fine,” I tell him as I reposition myself. “I just didn't hear anyone coming close.”

“Hmm.”

He stands there saying nothing as he looks down at his feet. He
