NATALIE.

“This is mind numbing,” I groan as I slouch deeper into the chair.

Anya chuckles at me as she flips over another page of the folders.

Folders.

She has folders and folders for this conference. All of them detailing different aspects of the conference.

And the worst part, she seems to enjoy it.

We have been working on the planning for four days now and I am more than ready -I am extremely eager- to drop it.

Who knew planning a conference would be this exhausting?

Certainly not me.

We have spent every waking hour and every hour before sleep, with each other, going over details and yet, she still manages to look as fresh as a daisy every morning.

Even now, her auburn hair cascades gracefully over her shoulders, as she sits elegantly poised with a clipboard ready to tackle today's challenges.

It makes me a little mad, considering I look like a wild, stray cat that was dragged out of its own safe place of sleep.
