Chapter two

SILVANA's POV 

We are currently in the eatery, Damien and Katherine are gossiping about whatever they like but their occasional giggling is in no comparison with the noise other students are making. I can't wait till the day ends and I can return home to comfort of my bed. One of my least favorite places in the world is school but I came because of someone.

The once noisy place became totally silent that I had to look up to see what was going on.

Oh! 

No wonder they all keep hush, our school contains different shape shifters but no humans are allowed because our existence is nothing but myth to them. 

Raphael is one of the neighboring Alpha's son and he is known for being ruthless and emotionless which causes many girls to fall head over heels for him, including me. 

I secretly followed his every action from the door to his seat with my eyes, their table contained him, Caleb ( another male prostitute), Phillip (the nerd among them).

Immediately girls swooned all over them and I lost sight of him. 

"I heard that he is having a birthday party this weekend and he invited everybody!" Katherine whispered in my ear.

Kathe is the only one aware of my feelings for him and just like I know of hers. 

"You will go right?" she asked after my prolonged silence to what she said earlier. 

"I'm not going" 

"Why?! " she asked, looking at me with surprise. 

"It doesn't matter if I go or not, there will be numerous girls there and he will never take notice of me" I replied as a matter of fact. 

"Then you make him notice you!" 

"I have always known you to be determined and not a chicken!" she replied provocatively.

I let what she said sink into my brain and I pondered on it.

I let my imagination take over my mind.

What she said isn't a bad idea.

I drove us home instead of dropping Damien off at his house because he was acting strange and it made me wonder what Katherine had done to him but no matter how I asked he refused to tell him what happened. 

He sits quietly at the back seemingly lost in thought. 

"What did you do to him?" I asked Katherine using the mind link because I don't want him to pick on what we are talking about.

"I kissed him!" she replied smiling and her eyes formed crescent to show how happy she is. 

"You are very silly!, the poor boy had to endure your craziness."

"I thought you didn't plan on telling him?" I asked curiously.

"I will tell him!" she replied, still living in her daydream. 

I honestly think they will make a great pair but who knows?. 

I parked the car in front of the pack house.

The pack house contains our family and a few of our close relatives like my annoying cousin. 

"Mom!" I yelled the moment I walked through the door with Damien and Katherine close behind me. 

"I'm over here!" she replied and I followed her voice to the kitchen. 

My stomach grumbles when different aromas of food hit my nostrils. 

My mom being the Luna isn't supposed to be in the kitchen but she refused to let anyone do her "duties" like she says. 

"How was school today?"

"Great" I replied.

I took a mini fruit tart off the tray she put them on, I moaned softly at the rich taste on my tongue. 

"Your father wants to see you," Mom  announced, making  me choke on my fruit tart.
