Chapter 2: Save my marriage
Chantel drop the juice on the drawer beside Claire bed and Claire continue to stare at her and Chantel notice that Claire was staring at her and she wonders why Claire is staring at her that way.
“ Ma’am Claire!” She says and Claire caution her self from starting at her.
“ Yes Chantel!” Claire replied.
“ Are you ok ma’am?” She ask and Claire stare at her and she smiled.
“ Yes, I am ok. Why do you ask?” Claire ask.
“ You were staring at me few minutes ago and it looks weird to me” she says and Claire smiled and she walks to the drawer and she took her juice and she sip.
“ I am just wondering what a poor orphan young girl like you is doing in my house working as a maid” she says and Chantel gets shocked and wonders why she thought of this now.
“ Ma’am, I don’t understand. I have been working for you for the past two years now and that was when I was fifteen and I told you that I needed this job to take of my self” she says and Claire stare at her and she smiled.
“ I know all of that dear and that is why I would love to help you if you want” she says and Chantel smiled.
“ Wow ma’am, I will be glad if you help me and I promise I will pay with any you want” she says and Chantel smiled.
“ Humm… I wish you could but what you will pay me back with will be what I wish for and I am sure you will not says no to it” she says and Chantel smile.
“ No ma’am why will I says no to it?” She says.
“ Do you promise not says no to it?” She ask and Chantel thought of what it could be.
“ I don’t know what it is ma’am” she says and Claire sip her juice.
“ I thought you said you will do anything to pay me back” she says and Chantel nods.
“ Yes, I said so but I am scared what this would be” she says and Claire walks closer to her.
“ Would like to go back to school and also be on your own and also stop working as maid for me?”she ask and Chantel nods her head.
“ Yes ma’am, I would like that ma’am” she replied.
“ Good, I will do all of that for you but I need a little favor from you” she says and Chantel wonders what he could be.
“ What is it you want me to do for me ma’am?” She ask.
“ I want you to have my husband to yourself tonight, I want him to get you pregnant” she says and Chantel gets shocked.
“ Ma’am, it’s seems you do not understand what you are saying ma’am” she says and Claire smiled.
“ I am not crazy Chantel, I know what I am saying fully well, I want you to have him for just this night, I remember you said you were on menstruation few days ago and I am sure by now you should be in your ovulation period, I want you to get pregnant for my husband but the child will be mind when you give birth and my husband will not know about this or anyone else it will be between we both only” she says and Chantel stare at her and she thought in her mind matte it’s some kid of a test.
“ Ma’am, is this some kind of a test, but I will not fall for it because I can’t afford to lose my job, I am homeless and helpless” she says.
“ This is not a test Chantel, it’s a offer from me to you and it’s help from you to me to pay me back, this is what I want and I want tou help me, I want to make you have home and you should be helpful to yourself and also you should have a good education, please do this for me” she says and Chantel says.
“ How will you husband have sex with me that he wouldn’t know?” Chantel ask.
“ I have an idea for that, you should not worry” Claire says.
“ If you are thinking of using sleeping pills then it won’t work because I am sure his manhood won’t work at that time” Chantel says.
“ I have a good plan not a sleeping pills but a pills that will make him want to have sex but you are going to be on mask and a pills that will not let him recognize it’s me, the only thing will be on his brain it’s sex” Claire says.
“ I think I need to think about this ma’am and also you told me to prepare dinner for Mr Henry so I will go do that” she says and she was about to leave and Claire stop her.
“ No need, I will tell Lily to do that” she says and Claire walks closer to her.
“ Chantel! Please save my marriage. Remember I helped you when you needed help the most even when my husband said we shouldn’t employ you that you are to young for this job but I had to plead my husband and gave you shelter so please me and save my marriage, people must not laugh at me, I don’t want loose my husband, you know among all the walker we have you are the only one that sleeps in the house apart from the security man, all the other maid leave but I allowed you because you needed shelter please do not let me down” she says and Chantel stare at her.
“ Why do I have to do this? Can’t you do it?” She ask and Claire stare at her.
“ If only I can, I wouldn’t be asking for your help. The doctor said that I am barren and I do not want family to know about this and Henry’s family as well, I want you to keep secret, the doctor, you and me only know about my child bearing status, I will offer you one million dollars, just do this for me Chantel” she says and Chantel stare at her.
“ Ma’am! Could you give me a little time to think about this?” She ask and Claire nods.
“ Yes, I will but I want you to give me a feedback before Henry comes back home because I want you with him this night” she says and Chantel left the room and Claire hopes that she is doing the right thing and she drinks her juice and she pick up her car keys from the side of the drawer and ruse out of the room, she thought of going to the pharmacy incase Chantel says yes, she agrees, she walks downstairs and she saw Lily and Chantel was already in the living room.
“ Lily! I want you to make my husband favorite, he will be back home this evening and when you are done please you can go back home early because I would like to be with my husband and tell the others workers the same, I wouldn’t want disturb, I am going out now and I will be back soon” she says and she walks out and Chantel ran after her and she stop her.
“ Ma’am! Where are you going to?” She ask.
“ I am going to the pharmacy to get what I told you about and I am sure you will not say no” she says and Chantel stare at her and she walks to her car and was about to enter the driver stop her.
“ Ma’am, I am supposed to be your driver and drive you wherever you want ma’am” the driver says.
“” I know that well Samuel, I did not forget that you are my driver but please, I need to drive alone this time around, I will be back soon” she says and the drive nods.
“ As you wish ma’am” he says and Claire and Chantel stare at each other and Claire smiled and she opens the door of the car and she enters the car and she drove off and Chantel walks back in to the house and she walks straight to her room to think about what Claire said.
“ Since it’s only to sleep with her husband and get pregnant that should not be an issue, I will do it and give myself a better life, one millionaire dollars isn’t a small money, I will accept the offer, I won’t have to work as a maid anymore” she says speaking to herself.
“ I will says yes to this offer, I am an orphan and I don’t have anyone” she says speaking to herself.
The maid finish preparing the dinner and left and it’s already evening and Claire drives back home and Chantel heard the on if car and she ran out of her room and Claire walks into the living room and she saw Chantel.
“ I will do it ma’am, I accept the offer” she says and Claire smiled.
“ I know you will says yes to my offer” she says and Chantel smile.
Chapter 3: Romance nightThe driver drove henry in and Claire heard the sound of the car and she gets happy because she knew his Henry.“ Henry is back. You know what, go straight to your room, I will call you when it’s time” she says and Chantel smiled and she left and Claire wake outside and Henry gets down from the car and she ran to him and she kiss him on the lips and she hugs him. “ Welcome back home honey” she says and she takes his briefcase from him.“ Where is Chantel or the other maids? They’d Gould be the one to carry the briefcase” he says and Claire smiles.“ No sweetheart, let me do this, I send all the maids home, I told them to close early for work today” she says and Henry wonders why.“ But why?” He ask.“ Because I want to spend the whole evening with you and also the whole night, you know the maids whenever they are around, they are always distracting with one thing or the other so that is why I tone them to go home” she says and Henry smiles.“ What about Chant
Chapter 4: Pregnancy It’s already in the middle of the night and Claire enter the room and he saw Henry sleeping and Chantel has already change to her dress and Claire drags her out of the room. “ You should not wear the night wear ever again, make sure you burn it because this will bring back the memories of today and as well might ruined our plans” she says and she took the marks from her. “ You should go to bed now” she says.“ Good night ma’am” she says and she left and Claire walks to the bed and she lay down beside her husband but she could not sleep and she cries, seated up and she continues crying and she looks at husband but Henry is at sleep. It’s the next morning and Henry and woke with his head aching and Claire was alert awake too.“ Good morning babe! How was your night?” She ask and Henry stare at her because he tells like she is different from the person he had on his bed last night and he stare at her.“ What happened? Why are staring at me that way?” She ask.“ L
Chapter 5: Back for my rightSome month later, Chantel and Claire went for a scan they both discovered Chantel is carrying twins in her womb and is a boy and a girl and Claire gets happy, Chantel also gets happy and the she remembered that has no right on the child because after she give birth the children will become Claires and she gets sad and Claire notice and she wonders what happened to her.“ What happened? Don’t even think of changing your mind about this because it’s not going to work, if I did not wanted this, you think I will allow you to sleep with my husband, and I am sure you will not have the capital the take care of this child’s because they are two not one, or do you want them to be orphaned like you are” she says and Chantel stare at says no. “ No, I want my kids to have a better life” she says and C
Chantel It’s Tuesday the twentieth of December, and a gorgeous early summer afternoon in Wellington, the capital of New Zealand.I don’t visit the city much, so I’m glad my sister has chosen this café on the waterfront, not far from Te Papa, our national museum. We sit at a table outside, overlooking Lambton Harbour. The water is a sparkling blue, reflecting the clear skies. At the table next to us, a group of businessmen and women in smart suits chat over a working lunch. Families and couples on holiday stroll along the waterfront, while a teenager dressed in shorts and a hot-pink vest weaves between them on rollerblades.“So,” my sister says once the waiter has delivered our meals and lattes. “Are you ready to get laid?”“Henry!” Giving an embarrassed laugh, I dart a glance at the people next to us, relieved they didn’t hear her. “For God’s sake, keep your voice down.”She helps herself to the bowl of chunky chips in the middle of the table. “Relax, girl. Nobody’s going to be
Claire, no guy is going to be interested in going with a virgin. It’s not the commodity it used to be. Guys want girls who are experienced and fun in bed. When I meet the right man, I want to know what I’m doing.”“Hmm, yeah, I get that.”“I mean, you weren’t going steady the first time you slept with someone, right?”Her lips twist. “No. It was at a party. You’re right, I just wanted to get it done.”“Exactly. The same for me.”Because I’ve looked after our mother full time since I was sixteen, I’ve been unable to go to university, to have a proper job, or to enter the dating game. I was determined that Claire would get to have the opportunities I missed out on, which is why, when she finishes her degree, she’s insisting on returning home to help share Mum’s care. It means I might be able to enter the dating game eventually. But when I do, I don’t want to go in blind.“So you’re not going to tell him today?” she confirms.“Hell, no. He’ll probably run a mile. I might say somet
Finally, I come to the conclusion that he’s not messaging back anytime soon. Ghosted on my first attempt. I sigh, toss the phone on the bed, grab my book, turn off the TV, and start reading. Within five minutes, I’ve dozed off. I wake about an hour later. It’s warm in the room, and I have a slight headache, but I feel a whole lot better when I look at my phone and discover I have another match, and he’s already sent me a message. His name’s Tim, and he’s the first guy I swiped right on. He’s twenty-six, a dentist, he plays Minecraft, and he likes Andrew. Oh well. Here goes. Andrew:Hey! Looks like He used punctuation and a smiley emoji. Things are looking up! Me:Yeah. You are my lucky star! Tim:LOL wot? Shit. Me:Sorry, it’s a quote from Andrew. Ripley sings the song at the end? Tim:Oh yeah, sorry, I haven’t watched it for ages. LOL cool. You into sci-fi? Me:Yes, and fantasy. Books and movies. You? Tim:Yeah, some, I like horror movies mainly. I’m not a big fan of horror, bu
We exchange a smile, and he leaves the room.I sit back for a moment, my smile fading. Somehow, he managed to sidestep the dating arena by knocking a girl up on a one-night stand and then having her turn up on his doorstep four months later, pregnant with his twins. I’m genuinely thrilled he’s found himself a girl he seems crazy about, but it’s impossible not to feel a touch of envy. It’s been a few months since I had a woman in my bed, and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss sex. I don’t miss the emotional turbulence that always seems to accompany dating, though. I wish I could jump to the four-month stage and have done with the getting-to-know-you part.Sighing, I return my attention to the financial report, and I’m a good three-quarters through before I’m interrupted again by the phone on myI check the display and see it’s an internal call—my younger brother, Damon.I pick up the receiver and say, “Yo,” my standard, somewhat unprofessional greeting to my siblings.“My office
I watch a blackbird hop along the window ledge before it takes off and soars toward the park.“I wanted to wish you happy birthday,” Lily says.I lean an elbow on the arm of my chair and rest my head on my hand. “My birthday’s tomorrow.”“Oh… It’s the twenty-first, isn’t it? Shit.” She got the day wrong every year we were together.“Yeah, but thanks anyway.” I wait for her to suggest hooking up again. Be strong, Kip.“I wanted to tell you before someone else did,” she says. “I’m getting married.”I go still. Then, slowly, I sit up. “Oh. Okay.”“His name’s Henry Williams —and no, it’s not the actor, they just share the name. He’s an architect, and we’re really happy together.”“Congratulations.”“Shit, I didn’t mean to say it like that. You make me nervous.”“Why?”“I don’t know. You always make me feel as if you’re going to tell me off.”I lift my glasses onto my hair and massage the bridge of my nose. “I appreciate you letting me know, and I wish you all the happiness in
Mum, I’m fine.” Irritably, I drop my arm, walk over to one of the armchairs, and drop into it. I know I’m being mulish, but it’s taking all my willpower just to stop myself walking out. I’m too miserable to make an effort.I’ve never been the sort of person to want to talk through my problems, and to be fair my family knows this and they all ignore me for the next hour or so, while Pamela, our housekeeper, brings in the food that Pierre, the chef, has made. I pass on all of it, sickened at the thought of swallowing anything except the whisky. Why have I never thought about the fact that we have our own chef? How decadent is that?About every five seconds, I check my phone to see if Alice has texted me, but the screen remains dark, and my Apple watch refuses to buzz against my wrist to announce an incoming call. Slowly knocking back the whiskies, and taking off my glasses, I grow more morose as the evening goes on, having to sit there and listen to everyone cooing over the babies and t
“It was a-mazing,” she says. “I had a glass of champagne and a piece of a fantastic chocolate torte. So good.”I grin as we cross to the car. “There’s something to be said for having a rich boyfriend.” I open the car and start helping Mum into the passenger seat.“Absolutely.” Charlie concentrates on getting her suitcase into the boot, helps me attach the wheelchair to the rack at the back that Kip had fitted for me, then gets into the back seat.I glance at her in the rear-view mirror before starting the engine and pulling away. “Everything okay, sweetie? You’ve lost weight, and you’re“Oh, just been working super-hard. I’ve got a dissertation this year, and the assessments are coming thick and fast, too.”“Are you eating well?” Mum asks. Charlie has a student allowance and a loan, and she works in a bar in the evenings and at the weekends, but Mum and I both know money is tight for her. We suspect that, like with a lot of students, her diet suffers occasionally so she can pay her re
Come for me.” She begins to move on top of me again, and I close my eyes as pleasure spirals through me. “Come on, baby,” she murmurs, teasing my lips with hers as the rock of her hips drives me in and out of her. “Let me hear those wonderful deep groans. Let me feel your muscles tighten as you come inside me.”There’s no stopping it now—her body is slim and soft and warm in my hands, all sensual curves and dips, and she’s so warm and wet, and I don’t have to claw my way to a climax, I just have to lean back and relax against the sofa cushions and let it wash over me in wonderful waves. It feels amazing, my muscles tightening deep inside, and her mouth is on mine, drinking in my gasps of pleasure, my body jerking and pulsing what feels like a dozen times, before it finally calms.I open my eyes and look straight into hers“Hello,” she says, and kisses“Hey.” I sigh.“Missed you,” she says, and then she nestles against me, with me still inside her, and we sit like that for a long time,
“Stop it. You know what I mean.”“What kind of a snob do you think I am? I know not everyone’s house is like mine.”“Catie told me you grew up in a mansion.”“Well, yeah, okay, that is“She said it has a pool and a billiard room and a theater room, and you all had your own separate apartments there.”“Yes, that’s true…”“She said you get to it via a cable car.”“Look, I’m not saying my family isn’t wealthy. I know not everyone is the same, that’s all, and I don’t judge other people by what they do and don’t have. Give me some credit.”My face warms. “I’m sorry.”“It’s okay.”“You want to put me over your knee?”He gives a short laugh. “You keep teasing me and one day I’m going to do just that.”It’s the first time he’s mentioned sex in our conversations since I came home, and it sends heat all the way through me. “Ooh. I’ve just had a hot flush.”“Oh… that idea turned you on, did it?”“Everything about you turns me on.”He sighs. “I miss you.”“I miss you too.”“Not long until Valenti
I shake my head. My chest is hurting so much that for a moment I wonder whether the coronary I foretold earlier has actually come to pass. But it’s just my throat muscles clenching, locked in a spasm of grief that I fight to hold in.I don’t know whether she truly meant that, or if she said it to make both of us feel better. It must be the latter? Surely I’m not the only one here who’s fallen in love?I look into her eyes. They plead with me not to say it. And they shine with all the emotion she’s trying to hold in.Clearly, I’m not the only one. There is no obvious solution. The path ahead is blocked by brambles, and I can’t see my way clear. I can’t control this situation, any more than I could control what happened with Christian. For the first time in years, panic rises inside me at my impotence, a word no man ever wants to encounter.I take a deep, shaky breath, and blow it out slowly. Alice has feelings for me, and I need to take consolation from that, and hope that the way ahea
As her body gives up its tension, and she flops back onto the table, I place tender kisses on either side of her thighs, then get to my feet and lean over her, pressing my throbbing erection between her legs through my boxer-briefs.Her arms are across her face, and she lifts them a little to peer up at me. “You have a magnificent tongue,” she states.I thrust my hips, driving my erection up through her swollen folds, and she groans and wraps her legs around me again. I continue to move my hips, and Jesus it’s so tempting to stay there and thrust myself to a climax, but this is our last night together, and it’s only been minutes since we walked in the door.Gritting my teeth, I move back, take her hand, and pull her upright. “You drive me wild,” I tell her, pressing my lips to“I driveyouwild? I’m the one who just lost the plot.” She lets me kiss her, grumbling, “I can taste myself.”I slip a hand beneath her, coat a finger with her moisture, then lift it and smear it across her botto
Depression is common in people with M.S.,” Alice says, “because of the pain and the fatigue and constant complications. We work hard to focus on the positive things in our lives, but she has days where it all gets too hard for her. And she hates that she’s holding me back from living a normal life. When she’s really bad, she cries and says it would be better if she wasn’t here. I find that hard to handle.”“Of course you do. I’m so sorry.”“Her dark moods don’t tend to last long because she knows they upset me. I try to keep little treats for days like those. We go out in the car to the waterfront and look at the statues of Captain Cook and Young Nick—he was Captain Cook’s cabin boy, and he was the first person on the Endeavour to spot the New Zealand coastline.”“Oh, I didn’t“Yeah, Mum’s quite into Kiwi history. Sometimes we go to Dad’s grave and sit there and chat about him. Or we go to the Eastwoodhill Arboretum and just immerse ourselves in nature. I’ll make us something special
That makes me laugh. “Fair enough.”He kisses my lips, long and luscious, then lifts his head and kisses my nose. “Am I squashing you?”“Yes, but I like it. All the things you said about me—I like how we’re different, too. Women are encouraged to believe they can do anything men can do, and it implies we’re the same, but we’re not.”He moves his hips against mine. ““Mmm, but it’s not just about that. You’re taller, broader, stronger, and more muscular.” I run my hands up his biceps, feeling the hard bulges there. “Your hands are larger. You have hair in places I don’t—your face, chest, and belly. Your voice is deeper, and you have this.” I brush a finger down his Adam’s apple.“But it’s not just that,” I continue thoughtfully. “Before she fell ill, my mum was spirited and independent, and she brought me and Charlie up to be the same. But she also thought it important that we be ladylike and feminine. She taught us to sit with our knees together, and to be conscious of our posture and
My erection springs to life as she sucks. I remove my thumb and kiss her again, this time allowing the full heat of my passion to sear through us both. She’s so soft—her skin, her breasts, her mouth. I cup her left breast in my hand, feeling its weight like a ripe fruit. I’ve never seen such pale nipples on a woman, the lightest pink, barely darker than the rest of her skin, and they also feel soft, like velvet petals. I tease one with my thumb, then tug it gently until it stiffens. She gives a little moan against my mouth, so I do it again, harder this time, and she sighs, then leans her forehead on my shoulder.“What’s the matter, Alice?” I kiss her ear, then the skin beneath it. “We’ve only just started.”“I know, but I’ve been…” she tips her head back, “aaahhh… thinking about this for weeks, and… aaahhh… you make meI tease her earlobe with my tongue while I continue to tug her nipple. “Where?”“Aw, don’t make me say it.”I laugh and tug her earlobe between my teeth. “Why not?”“D
