" What?" shouted the two Duke's at the same time.

" Who's so atrocious as to kidnap the princess of Windsor kingdom?" Roared Sophia's father. The act of a royal being kidnapped was a blatant provocation. Just who could be so willful as to offend both the icelandic and Windsor kingdom.

Both Men took hurried steps as they headed to the bridal chamber where the couple was getting ready for their wedding ceremony.

Sophia's dad kicked the door open and entered in followed by the Duke of icelandic kingdom who was his supposed father in law.

They were furious. Upon entering,they found all guards and maids who were supposed to be attending to the Bride ànd groom all lying on the floor.

They stopped in their tracks. They could feel the depressing atmosphere as one man stood there lazily leaning on the window.

Observing the one's laying on the ground,it was evident they were not injured and appeared like they were just sleeping.

"What ha..have you done....to.... them?" Questioned Sophia's father though stuttering.

Raphael glanced at them lazily then turned to look to his future father-in-law as if he was a fool.

" obviously put them to sleep." Raphael answered him mockingly.

"what do you want?" Sophia's dad asked.

in her dreams, Sophia could feel like her dad somehow knew Raphael. his expressions clearly showed it.

"To take my mate away who you were obviously trying to marry off despite knowing she was my mate, the devil's mate." Raphael had somehow raised his voice. He was clearly angry.

Sophia's Father showed a helpless emotion.

" I knew this day will come, Since the day the dark dragon mark started to appear on her left shoulder. I knew soon or later,you will come claiming her. But despite it all, she's still my daughter. I don't want my daughter to be mated to you. We both know the fate she will face if the two of you complete the mating Bond. I just want my daughter to have a simple life just like any other girl her age. I want her to be happy not to shoulder the responsibility of the whole world, is that a bad thing? tell me!!"

Sophia's Father was crying at this moment. One could see the pain in his eyes.

Raphael had a complicated gaze. Sophia could not tell why that was since to her all this was a dream.

"I know my time here is almost over,I can't be there to always protect her but I don't want her to suffer either." he continued.

Raphael moved close to him and patted his shoulders.

Slowly Sophia opened her eyes.

She remembered what she had seen in her dreams. Was it really a dream or were they memories? She couldn't tell but the feeling she got was very real. They must be memories of what had happened before.she concluded.

Just as she sat up, her stomach grumbled.

" Holy shit! I don't remember when I last ate." she mumbled to herself. getting off bed, she decided to go look for something to eat but remembered she didn't even know the direction to the kitchen .

She decided to sleep abit but her hunger couldn't let her be.

"nevermind,I'll just go out and ask for directions." She ties her robe and set off. She couldn't get used to this kind of clothes. They were magnificent and beautiful but they were too Free.

She was a modern girl who was used to wearing modern clothes. she loved wearing denim shorts and crop tops paired with sneakers,she missed wearing like a college girl.

She walked down the stairs then turned to a hallway which led to another and another. She did not spot anyone so far. what she didn't know was that the five topmost floor's of the castle were vacated for her privacy.

Raphael finished handling the kingdom matters and left immediately to accompany his mate. Despite being separated from her for just three minutes,he missed her very much. This version of his Sophia was something he wasn't used to. She would smile at him and when she did, his whole world would explode with fireworks. He could also see admiration and ... affection in her eyes when she looked at him. She would also blush when they did something intimate, compared to the Sophia from ten years ago who only knew how to insult him,he found her more lovable. Yes, the devil was in love. crazy, right? I know but it is what it is. The devil was enchanted and seems like he couldn't fight her charms.

She was his mate after all so it was expected.

He half walked half ran up the stairs to their room. He wanted to see her badly. His heart was racing and only she could calm him down.

He entered their room and pushed open the door only to be greeted by an empty room. His heart drooped. He could still even smell her lingering scent in the room and that showed she had left the room not long ago

He dashed out of the room following her body scent to locate her. His senses were heightened and he could smell her anywhere across ten miles.

Minutes later,he found her sitting on a bench , four floor down the topmost floor of the castle. She had curled herself into a ball and was rocking her body up and down. Seeing her pathetic condition,he felt something grip and squeeze his heart tight.

He walked towards her and scooped her up without a word.

Sophia automatically circled her hands on his neck.

" What is wrong, why did you leave the house without informing anyone.?" Raphael gently asked her.

From his tone,she could sense a flick of emotions but she did not have an idea what it was.

" I was hungry and wanted to look for food." she replied meekly pouting her lips

"Don't you have a maid for that Job." he had appointed Rizia to be her personal Maid. she was the queen of the kingdom,so how could she go looking for food all by herself?

"I already sent her away when I was going to bed and did not know where to find her." she replied.

"You just need to call out for her in your mind and she'll appear whenever you want her to." he patiently explained. He had forgotten she had lost her memories.

" Really?" That sounded unbelievable for her.

"You can try if you don't believe me." He wriggled his brows in a mischievous manner.

A master - servant bond existed between the two parties and that allows for both to communicate.

Sophia concentrated In her mind and called out for Rizia. she then heard Rizia reply to her.

few minutes later,the door was knocked and after being granted entrance she made her way inside.

"greetings to the King and queen" She greeted them politely. They treated this King and queen with utmost respect .

She received instructions to get her queen food and left to carry out the task given by the king .

"Don't scare me like that again." After Rizia said he softly murmured to hear ears softly licking and biting her earlobes.

A soft cry of pleasure escaped her mouth.

Raphael found her moans pleasant to the ear,he was motivated to do more.

Rizia was scared silly seeing the expression of their king. she knew she was in deep shit. She had entered the room without knocking since the King had instructed she bring food for the queen as soon as possible but who knew she could discover such a passionate side of their King.

The king and the queen were entangled with each other kissing and licking each other all over. Thinking about it,her face turned red like a cooked shrimp. She wanted to go and gossip about her new adventure with the rest but she will be lucky If she made it out alive observing the king's expression

Raphael wished he could straggle this maid to death for interacting his moment's with his mate. wasn't she taught any manners but turning to look at his queen who was staring at the food lying all over the floor with tears almost coming out,his heart softened .

He pulled her up and straightened her clothes." I'll take you out for lunch." He gently told her opening the window and jumping off with Sophia safety tucked in his hands.
