“I was wondering that if you guys heal on your own, why you would need a hospital or doctors,” Abel questioned Irvin.“Because sometimes we can’t heal or we take time to heal. Some wounds don’t fill on their own.” Irvin responded.“But medicines don’t work on you guys. What do you do?” The curious bean questioned again.“Why didn’t you ask these questions to your mate? I mean he was seriously injured. You should’ve asked him why he couldn’t heal on his own.” Irvin arched his eyebrow. Abel shrugged.“We have a lot of other things to do.” He smirked at Irvin, making him scrunch his nose.“I didn’t need to know that.” He said, gagging.“You act like, you don’t do this shit.” Abel relaxed back on his seat with a satisfied smirk on his face because he knew he was annoying Irvin.“Yeah but I don’t talk about it or brag about it.” Irvin rolled his eyes.“How would you when you’ve done it like once in your life.” Abel snickered, making Irvin turn to him.“Who said we’ve done it once?
When they woke up from their small nap, it was already getting dark. The sun was ready to take some rest as the sky was turning a shade mix of orange and blue.It was Zadkiel who woke up first so he started petting Irvin’s wolf. Seconds later the wolf also woke up and nuzzled its face in Zadkiel’s neck, inhaling the scent. Zadkiel smiled and hugged the wolf.Suddenly the wolf pushed back and looked out of the opening of the cave. It didn’t take seconds for the wolf to turn into a human again.“It’s dark. Shit! I have to tell the pack about the Luna today.” Irvin spoke, looking for his clothes around while except the initial state of shock where he stared at Irvin, Zadkiel was doing pretty much everything to not look at Irvin. Irvin noticed it and smirked while putting on the clothes.“You do know that it’s normal in werewolves to be naked around each other. I mean we all have seen each other naked because when we turn back to our human form, we are completely naked.” Irvin said as
Zadkiel opened the door and dashed in, even though he wasn’t a little bit excited about being the centre of the attention, he still knew how much Irvin wanted it and looking forward to it. He didn’t want to be the reason for the ceremony’s or whatever it was, delay. A suit covered in a zip lock bag was placed on the bed along with it a box of shoes was placed. Zadkiel smiled and walked to the bed to have a better look at it. It was a black blazer with a white buttoned-up t-shirt and grey dress pants. There was also a red tie with it, placed next to it. He went to lock the door so when he walks out of the bathroom in a towel, he wouldn’t face any embarrassing moment. He grabbed a towel from the cupboard and wasted no time going to the bathroom for a quick shower. When he was dressed, he felt like the tie didn’t suit him. Plus, it felt really formal so he removed it. He pulled out the shirt from the back of his pants and unbuttoned his blazer. He liked the way he looked in the clothe
The next morning, Zadkiel woke up almost at 10 and when he woke up, Irvin was still in the room, doing something on the laptop. Zadkiel frowned because even if Irvin decided not to wake up Zadkiel, he should’ve been to work at this time.“Good morning.” He sat up and stretched choosing not to ask Irvin about it because Irvin must have not felt like going to work.“Morning, baby,” Irvin answered looking up to meet Zadkiel’s gaze and smiled at him.“My habits are ruined. I used to wake up at 7 in the morning in the orphanage.” Zadkiel shuffled out of bed.“This is your home. You can sleep all day and no one will question you about it.” Irvin responded, putting the laptop aside.“Well, I need to take a shower. I’ll see you in a bit.” Zadkiel spoke before walking to the closet to grab himself a pair of jeans and a shirt before hurrying to shower. He had just one hour to get ready and then run to the spot where he had asked Evangeline to meet him. Though he had no idea what excuse he
“Let’s sit down.” Irvin pulled him back to the seat and made him sit on the table.“So, where were you if you weren’t with Abel?” Irvin asked him and Zadkiel started fidgeting with his fingers.“I went to talk to my mother. I didn’t want to tell you about it because I didn’t know how it’d go but she didn’t show up. Do you know where she is? I wanna talk to her. I mean you gave her a place to stay? Can you give me the address?” Zadkiel questioned, looking hopefully at Irvin. Irvin broke the eye contact and looked at the pen he was playing with, instead of answering Zadkiel.“Irvin?” Zadkiel called him again, making him look up at him.“Yeah?”“My mother’s address?” Zadkiel repeated. Irvin seemed troubled and Zadkiel couldn’t put a finger on what could have happened.“Oh… yeah. She… Uh… she… Look, the thing is she just… she left this morning. I don’t know why but she kinda just left without a word.” Irvin hesitantly replied. Zadkiel’s expressions were blank and he didn’t know what
Zadkiel headed home late that night. It was almost 1 in the morning when he entered the room, only to find Irvin wide awake, reading a book which was so not like him.“Hi…” He awkwardly greeted him when their eyes met. Irvin gave a small smile before turning his gaze back to the book. Zadkiel went straight to the bathroom to brush his teeth and change into his pyjamas.Once he was done with it, he came back and plopped on the bed. Irvin’s eyes sneakily followed Zadkiel around as he prepared himself for some sleep. Zadkiel fluffed his pillow before lying down and faced away from Irvin.“Alright. I’m sorry.” Irvin huffed, slamming the book shut and putting on the night dresser. Zadkiel didn’t move a muscle and closed his eyes.“Zadkiel, I said I’m sorry,” Irvin spoke again, placing a hand on Zadkiel’s shoulder. Zadkiel opened his eyes and without turning mumbled.“Say that when you mean it.”“I mean it.” Irvin protested.“Sleep, Irvin and let me sleep too.” Zadkiel sighed, before
“Oh… Irvin. I have a question for you?” He nodded for Irvin to go to a private corner. Edmond excused himself out.“What is it?” Irvin asked Zadkiel once they were alone in the living room.“How do you guys talk to the moon goddess?” Zadkiel spoke, looking at Irvin intently.“Well…” Irvin couldn’t be more dumbstruck as he looked at him weirdly.“I mean… Everyone has a place to you know worship god where they also talk to god and confess their sins you know like churches and temples. Where do werewolves go to talk to moon goddess or to confess a sin?” He asked, knowing how crazy he was sounding.“I didn’t take you to be a believer.” Irvin chuckled.I’m an angel. How could you not? Zadkiel thought before passing a smile.“I’m just curious.” Zadkiel shrugged.“You wanna confess sins?” Irvin said in a teasing tone. Zadkiel knew Irvin was stalling.“Or maybe I just want to talk about the sins of other people,” Zadkiel smirked at him.“Very well. We don’t have any sacred place whe
32 hours before Zadkiel’s first full moon and he was already feeling worried. He didn’t know what to expect. Well, no one had any idea if Zadkiel would turn or not, or if turned, was he going to be able to control himself. He was going around asking everyone about their first full moon experience. So far, every story had scared him.“Yeah… I don’t think it’s a great idea to continue, you know.” Abel chuckled after hearing the story of one of the pack members telling him that it felt like every bone in his body broke and reformed itself. Only he dared to say the truth while everyone tried their best to hide the truth about how much pain it would cause.“No… I don’t care about the pain. I just want to know if anyone of these people hurt anyone.” Zadkiel declined the suggestion.“All of them are saying they don’t even remember what happened during those hours. So, I don’t think they can help you. They are just increasing my anxiety.” Abel sighed.“Irvin knew he hurt someone. Remember
