“Oh… Irvin. I have a question for you?” He nodded for Irvin to go to a private corner. Edmond excused himself out.“What is it?” Irvin asked Zadkiel once they were alone in the living room.“How do you guys talk to the moon goddess?” Zadkiel spoke, looking at Irvin intently.“Well…” Irvin couldn’t be more dumbstruck as he looked at him weirdly.“I mean… Everyone has a place to you know worship god where they also talk to god and confess their sins you know like churches and temples. Where do werewolves go to talk to moon goddess or to confess a sin?” He asked, knowing how crazy he was sounding.“I didn’t take you to be a believer.” Irvin chuckled.I’m an angel. How could you not? Zadkiel thought before passing a smile.“I’m just curious.” Zadkiel shrugged.“You wanna confess sins?” Irvin said in a teasing tone. Zadkiel knew Irvin was stalling.“Or maybe I just want to talk about the sins of other people,” Zadkiel smirked at him.“Very well. We don’t have any sacred place whe
32 hours before Zadkiel’s first full moon and he was already feeling worried. He didn’t know what to expect. Well, no one had any idea if Zadkiel would turn or not, or if turned, was he going to be able to control himself. He was going around asking everyone about their first full moon experience. So far, every story had scared him.“Yeah… I don’t think it’s a great idea to continue, you know.” Abel chuckled after hearing the story of one of the pack members telling him that it felt like every bone in his body broke and reformed itself. Only he dared to say the truth while everyone tried their best to hide the truth about how much pain it would cause.“No… I don’t care about the pain. I just want to know if anyone of these people hurt anyone.” Zadkiel declined the suggestion.“All of them are saying they don’t even remember what happened during those hours. So, I don’t think they can help you. They are just increasing my anxiety.” Abel sighed.“Irvin knew he hurt someone. Remember
Zadkiel barged into the office and saw Irvin sitting on the chair, looking right at him with a smile on his face as if he knew that Zadkiel was going to walk in and of course, he knew.“Sensed your presence ages ago. I had a meeting but I didn’t even inform them that I’d be late because I was waiting for you. Knew you came here for me.” Irvin chuckled getting out of the chair while Zadkiel gave him a small smile and shut the door.“Yeah. Decided to raid your workplace today.” Zadkiel spoke, walking to Irvin who wrapped his arms around his mate as soon as they were closed and locked his lips with his mate’s.“Thank you,” Irvin whispered against his lips pulling for only a second and then going back to kiss Zadkiel. The two mates devoured each other’s mouths as much as they could. Irvin picked up Zadkiel and sat him on his desk without breaking the kiss and kept kissing Zadkiel like a horny teenager.“Ha… Irvin.” Zadkiel managed to stutter out his name and pushed him gently to make
Irvin couldn't believe what he was seeing. He had heard about this in myths or children stories but never once he thought it could be real.Right before him, stood a very majestic wolf... Well, not a wolf but Pterolycus with an actual halo around his head. He didn't even know that the myths about Pterolycus were true until now. The aura of the creature was so captivating that everyone just stood there to stare in adoration."Wow!" A sigh released from his mouth in astonishment. The creature just stood there looking as confused as anyone else, just staring at the smiles on the faces of the people around them. Its golden eyes wandered around to search for answers as it stood there on all its four, looking like a heaven-sent creature."Zadkiel..." Irvin carefully approached Zadkiel, trying not to alarm him. He had seen it by now that Zadkiel was a different kind of wolf because except for the initial attack on Edmond that too happened because he was shot, Zadkiel handled his first
"There's one problem though. Whenever I open my wings, my shirt just tears from my shoulder blades. They didn't show that in Lucifer." Zadkiel pouted, seating himself on his throne. Irvin's lap."We'll figure out something for that. For now, stop opening them." Irvin answered leaning in to place a kiss on Zadkiel's nose."I feel bad for kicking out Abel. I know he won't mind but he came here all the way from his home to just check on me. I shouldn't have kicked him out. I mean I know that it was bad timing when he arrived but the poor thing didn't know that we were about to shag. Should I go and apologize to him. He's still here. I can smell him. I think at least he would know that I- wait a minute. I can smell him." He stopped his nonsense blabbering in the middle and looked at Irvin with a shocked face when he realized he could still smell Abel."You're a werewolf. Of course, you can." Irvin frowned not finding anything odd in it."No, I couldn't smell humans or anyone for the m
"I should go. Abel must be waiting for me." He spoke as he stood up on his tippy toes and placed his hands on Irvin's shoulder to balance himself while Irvin's hands travelled down to his waist. He leaned in to kiss his lips while placing one hand on the back of Irvin's neck.He closed his eyes and as soon as their lips were attached, Zadkiel had another vision, he got so lost in it that he pushed Irvin against the door to elongate the kiss."Good to see you come to rescue your pack members, Irvin." A voice spoke softly, though in authority."Who are you? Why did you attack my pack members and how do you know my name?" Irvin asked. It was dark and it was taking so long for the image to become clear. It was a blur."You may not remember me but I clearly remember you, best friend." But when the guy answered Irvin's questions, the whole scenery become clear. It looked like a small cottage that was lit with dim lights coming from the small lanterns placed at a safe distance from o
The meeting with Abel didn't go as he thought it would go at first because when he messaged Abel, he was mad at Irvin and he was ready to do some bitching about Irvin to feel relaxed but when he actually left to see him, he wasn't anymore. Though there were still some things on his mind that he did like to talk to Abel about but still he wasn't raging mad at his mate. They both just talked about what Irvin told him before going there and what he learnt when he had the vision. He was also feeling guilty for using Irvin like that for his own advantage. He knew he shouldn't have used him like that but he had completely lost in his vision.Putting everything else aside, the vision or whatever it's called, gave him new information. It confirmed that Irvin didn't know about him from the first meeting and his guess was that maybe Edmond also didn't know because only that could be the reason why Edmond was so desperate to unite his son and his mate and after Irvin came back from the Appalac
Once they reached the point, Irvin got out and ran towards the other side of the car at super speed so he could open the door for Zadkiel."You're being gentle." Zadkiel grabbed the extended hand and stepped out of the car."I'm always gentle, mister." Irvin gave him a pointed look, a smile visible on his face."When you're not being a meanie." He smirked and kissed Irvin's cheek before letting go of Irvin's hand and jumped up to sit on the bonnet of the car, facing the sun."I'm never a meanie to you. You haven't seen my mean side, love." Irvin followed him on the bonnet of the car but as soon as his clothed ass made contact with the bonnet, he jumped up."How are you sitting on that? It's so hot." Irvin frowned, staring at his mate in shock. He was shocked to see Zadkiel sitting on the bonnet so comfortably when it was burning like hellfire."Why? What's wrong with it?" Zadkiel asked and after seeing the genuine confusion on Zadkiel's face, he understood that Zadkiel was immun
He walked through the familiar path and stopped by his father’s for a while just to listen to him talk about his mother ever so lovingly and he couldn’t feel better about it. He was glad to hear that his parents found their way back to each other. It took them years to do so but it was all worth the eternity they were going to spend together. After his father’s he headed to check on Abel who still hadn’t remembered him but they had reformed a new friendship here.“Hey, angel.” Abel greeted him with a smile on his face.“Can you not call me an angel?” He sighed, shaking his head but a smile was present on his face.“Seriously, you have wings and a face like an angel. What do you want me to call you?” He questioned, arching his eyebrow. When Zadkiel found out that Abel ended up in heaven, it wasn’t a surprise for him. He knew the man for his whole life and he knew there was not one day where he meant any harm for another person except for those who hurt Zadkiel.“Okay, whatever bu
He gazed at the beautiful waterfall as he thought about the last sixty-eight years of his life. Every moment he spent with his friends and family. He couldn't be more grateful than he already was for the life he lived. He enjoyed every moment of it. Yes, there were ups and downs. Yes, he lost some people in the way but that was part of the journey. He still wouldn't exchange it for anything else, except for the part where his mate died in his arms. Whenever he thought of it, he wished he had died with him too.He tried to stay with his family. He tried to be there for them but it didn’t matter. He couldn’t do it. Now, he knew what heartbreak his mother had gone through.Maybe, it wasn’t that difficult if his best friend hadn’t died the same week. He had lost everyone. Not his kids, but that wasn’t enough. The people who were there all through his life. To whom he could share anything. They were gone. He could talk to his kids but having a whole generation gap wasn’t helping in the c
He knew he could heal him. He just had to hold his hand and think about it but he was strictly told not to. Because Irvin's body was too weak to stay functional now so every time he healed him from something that he feared would end up in his death, he healed him, making the next time more difficult for Irvin. Two sons came rushing through the door. Felix immediately took Aphia out of the room while Anwyll called the doctor.Irvin suddenly stopped gasping and shaking as he lay still. Zadkiel instantly check if his heart was still beating and it was but barely. His skin was cold and his body was stiff. All family members were now gathered in the room to check up on Irvin. Everyone just sat there staring at him while trying to hold back their sobs because they knew it was the time. The doctor checked up on Irvin and told them that she have given him every medicine needed and hoped he'd get better but she also warned that they might just say their last goodbyes to him because Irvin'
"Irvin..." He sobbed, holding his hand and pulling his sleeping body over him with his other hand. He dipped down his head and placed a kiss on the top of his hair, lingering his lips there.Irvin fluttered his eyes open, very slowly. He was confused for a moment before he looked up at his sobbing mate."Why are you crying, Zadkiel?" He asked pulling away from him and sitting up, though it took a real effort from him to do so."What were you doing on the west of the border?" He wanted to ask but he knew the answer would be too painful for his mate to remember and way more painful for him to hear."I just love you so much. That's why." Zadkiel answered giving him a smile and wiping off his tears."Well, thank you." He replied, resting his back against the headboard because his back was hurting. Zadkiel put a pillow behind him to make it as comfortable and soft as he could."Look! A butterfly." Irvin lifted his hand that was shaking uncontrollably to the window behind him.Zadkie
"Dad, what are you doing here?" A black-haired man, with hazel green eyes, maturity dripping from his face, asked a white head man, wrinkly face and confused expressions."I'm sorry. I lost my way." The white head man with emerald eyes replied with a tremor in his voice which was the gift of old age."This doesn't even the way to home. Where were you going, by the way?" He asked the old man, approaching him and helping him sit on the bench. The old man took almost five minutes to think with a confused face before answering "I don't know." He said looking up but then his confusion intensified as he stared at the face of the black-haired guy. "I'm sorry but who might be you, gentleman?" He asked politely unknown of the fact that whenever he said something like that, it hurt the other man so much. "Let's get you home." He spoke, standing up and helping the white-haired old man, keeping his touch and hold very gentle."Where is home?" The old man questioned but nonetheless followe
“This is the most difficult thing to do in the world,” Zadkiel screamed while trying to drive the car smoothly while Irvin sat beside him.Irvin finally decided to give Zadkiel those driving lessons he promised and that too in his favourite car that he rarely drove. But now it seemed like it wouldn’t be left in the condition to drive after these lessons.“No, you’re just panicking too much.” Irvin sighed.“I’m not. Get this thing to stop!” He whined. He was so done with these lessons. It was way too much for him to process. Even his angelic powers weren’t helping in this.Irvin face palmed himself, shaking his head before speaking. He couldn’t believe that Zadkiel was having a panic attack while driving Tesla which required low to none skills. For a person who had no idea how to drive, it was really very easy but Zadkiel made it seem like it was as hard as walking on water. Yeah right, he was making it seem like it was impossible. God forbid if it was any other model. He would’ve
Zadkiel sprinted down the stairs with a 3 months old in his arms while Irvin was just behind him with another 3 months old held in his arms. They both rushed to Anne’s room and barged in without knocking because it was an emergency.“Mom, can you take care of the babies. Abel is in labor.” Irvin spoke and he wasn’t even asking because he knew the answer already so, he just laid down his son on the bed and Zadkiel followed him.“Oh... Don’t worry about them. Just go.” Nora answered, sitting beside the babies.“I’ve fed Felix but Anwyll was asleep so when he wakes up, please feed him. I’ve made his formula. It’s in the yellow one. Felix’s is Blue and Anwyll has yellow. Don’t mix up please. Yeah and please, make sure Anwyll burps. I don’t know what’s the matter with him but he seems to like the idea of vomiting out everything on me but is too stubborn to burp.” Zadkiel said, adjusting the blanket around his babies and then leaning down and kissing. He was about to turn around but reme
“Zadkiel, what’s wrong?” He asked his mate who looked pale as if someone had just drained the blood out of his system. His eyes were closed and he looked like he was about to puke.“Zad-” Irvin cut himself off when he felt something wet seeping down his pants. His eyes flicked down to where their crotches were meeting and a gasp left his mouth when he saw that Zadkiel’s pants were also soaking.“Zadkiel…” He instantly sat up and lifted his chin to have a better look at him. “Baby, what’s going on?” He asked but Zadkiel gave no reply. His eyes remained shut and his breaths were laboured. Irvin pulled him against his chest not knowing what Zadkiel was going through. He had no idea why would Zadkiel just piss himself.“Irvin…” Zadkiel whispered taking a few moments to himself.“I don’t feel good. Help me.” He said in a shaky voice as his eyes flicked up at his mate, glistening with tears.“Hey, it’s all right I got you. Let’s change and then we can go to the hospital.” Irvin assure
The next two months went as smoothly as they could have because everything was settled. Zadkiel spent a hell lot of his time at Abel’s, took him to the doctor’s and way back home because Sean was easily getting on his nerves. He always blamed Sean for not telling him that this would happen to him because he hated being pregnant but he also loved that he was going to be a father soon. Though it wasn’t enough for him to see Sean’s face.Sean knew it was just his mood swings and hormones because, at the end of the night, Abel couldn’t go to sleep until it was Sean holding him from the back and assuring him that he’d be fine and how happy it made him that Abel was carrying his baby.Zadkiel, when he was not with Abel, spent his time with Ayaan and his kids. He loved his cousins so very much. He even loved babysitting them. Irvin was more than happy to spend some time with the kids when he was home.In the night, when Irvin came back home, Zadkiel made sure to give his time and attentio
